So, you see, I used to be on board with this (rivals to lovers), but then I saw that one picture of Nessa and Raihan. Now I think this is a decent ship, but I don't really ship it.

Nessa mentions him as her rival a few times, so she clearly thinks of them. They are at least rivals, well, on Nessa's side, probably friends, and possibly more. So I think it could be okay.

Shipping Levels:

Brotp: 8
-They would be an awesome duo. The water and grass gym leaders could take on anything together. Their personalities are so different, too. Milo would be trying to keep her calm in the situation and Nessa would be commiting arson if she were not a water type trainer. It would be hilarious.

Otp: 5
-I'm still pretty neutral about this. It's okay. I like it a bit. I just suddenly saw something cuter and jumped on that ship instead. I would still read fanfiction about this, though. I think it could work out.

My Objective Opinion: 5
-I think this one us a pretty neutral ship. There is enough that our could work, but nothing really pushing it in either direction. Milo does not recognize Nessa as a rival either, which takes that out. One thing I think is that while their personalities are different, I think they could still work. Milo is a fun leader, so while he is quiet and soft hearted, he clearly has drive and passion. Therefore, I believe they could work out well.
