It was a cloudy day, costumers are going in and out of the bakery. The news flash as a lady is standing there with a script looking paper. "Breaking news, children of the Saint Michael orphanage are both missing and dead. They found bloodied up children scatter around the building as the survivors have stated that they were taken away by a strange group."

"That's awful, " A lady with highlights in her hair claimed. "What do you think about it, [Y/n]?" She asked her coworker.

[Y/n] looked at her, who was looking at the TV before, as she is holding a tray she used to serve costumers. "Those kids deserve justice, Nikki." She has a sad look on her face.

"You poor thing, " Nikki says as she pats her back.

That woman whose name is [Y/n] [L/n], she was one of the most intelligent detective cops around the city. But she's now retired due to medical reasons. She's tittle as a soft or kind cop because of the fact that she does not prisoners or criminals with violence or disgust. So many backs in the prison simp for her because of that reason.

"You really have a soft spot for children, don't you?" Nikki says as she chuckles. "Such a cutie, " she pinches her cheeks.

'Please don't treat me like this, my pansexualness is quaking, ' the [h/c] haired woman thought as she let out a sigh.

"I'll go check up on others, " she says as she went to the kitchen. [Y/n] stood behind the counter as a new customer comes in.

He's about five feet and ten inches tall, wearing a formal suit as the upper buttons of his polo are unhooked. He's wearing a bandana on his raven black hair and has an intimidating look as he glares at everyone in the room who just kind their business. He walks to the counter as he stares down at you.

"Welcome, " she smiles at him, "what would you like sir?" She asked him nicely.

His intimidating face broke as it turns into a kinder one, "could I please get a cheesecake?" He asked politely.

"Would you like a slice or the whole cake?" She asked him as she wrote down his order.

"The whole cake please, " he said.

"That's all?"

"Yes ma'am."

She finishes writing down his order as she gave his number card to him. "I'll call your number once the came is done. It would take about five minutes, " she said. "You could wait by that couch over there, " she points at the empty couch.

"Thank you, ma'am, " he said as he goes to the couch and waits there. He brings out his phone and goes through social media. Everyone passes him looked at him strangely before looking away.

[Y/n] let out a chuckle before turning around to see Nikki with an uncomfortable expression written on her face, "what's wrong?" She asked the tall woman worriedly.

She shook her head, "it's nothing [Y/n]," She says as she chuckles nervously. "What did he order?" she asked.

"He orders a whole cheesecake, he seems to be a nice guy, " she gives Nikki the paper where his order was written. Nikki only nods at her and goes to the kitchen.

The guy keeps looking up to her as she catches him looking, only giving him a sweet smile. He looks away with a bit of red on his cheeks. Suddenly the store was a barge in by three bulky men. They approach her, "give me us the money." One of the points the gun on her.

The other two stared pointing their weapons at the other costumer, the black-haired man tried to stay calm until he saw her being pointed by the gun. He tries not to make a sound as he reaches for his pocket. Nikki who saw everything and still on the kitchen started calling the cops on her phone as she hides under the tables.

"I can't do that, ” [Y/n] stated calmly with a smile.

"You give me the money or you die, " he said aggressively. Her smile slowly turned into a frown, catching him off guard. She then grabs his wrist with force as she brings it down with fast speed. She jumps on the counter as she pulled the gun away from him, kicking him on the face making him fall back. She pointed the gun at him with both hands, standing position.

The man from before looking at her with a sparkle in his eyes as he looks at her in awe. Some people started to film it live as she steps down from the counter. The cops then arrive as they arrest the three men and take them away.

She salutes at a former co-officer, " officer Reynold."

"Former detective [L/n], " he salutes at her.

'She was a detective?' The black-haired man thought. One of the workers gave him the cheesecake and he thanks them. He leaves the store before anyone could recognize him, this man ran away from the cops several times already. He gets in his car and starts driving away, can't wait to tell his friends about her.

[Y/n] let out a yawn as she enters her house and shut the door behind her. She enters the living room and then flinches in surprise as she saw someone sitting there. "Eret, how many times did I told you to not break into my house?" She let out a sigh as she put her stuff on the counter at the kitchen.

Eret is a retired government employee, he always decided to pop out of nowhere. "No, I'm home honey kiss?" He teased, she let out a sigh as she went to him and kiss him on the head. "That's better, " he let out a chuckle. The two became friends after Niki introduced you to him but he's kinda clingy.

"I'm not doing this again, " she says as she decided to make soup for the two of them. Eret went to her as he gives her the bowls and ingredients.

Eret looked down at her, "you've gone popular on the internet today. I must admit that's a beautiful sight, " he says as you gently punch him on the arm.

"What I am I suppose to do? Stand there and give the money?" She asked him as she heats up the stove.

"In commonsense yes, " he answered her. "But I guess those skills are quite handy when at times like that, " he hugs her from behind. "You still need to be careful, " he rested his head on top of hers.

"I am careful, " she let out a chuckle. "Now let go before I smack you with this ladel." She points the object at him.

"Nah, " he let out a laugh. She then continues cooking as Eret's doze off, wishing no one from the people he knows find out about her. They'll do anything for clout or power.
