Empress's Revenge

-Chapter 4-

'I got the job finally' i thought and lied down on her bed. She felt happy,

simultaneously, she recalled her memories.

there were tons of people trying to apply for this because the reason was that the salary was very but a person within the crowd just simply wants revenge from the emperor and a small amount of her wants the money to support her parents.

"Okay, listen up we only need 20 participants, after we have chosen 20 participants we will choose only one among the 20 participants to be our maid all of you must go on a test or withdraw"

a butler said loud enough for everyone to hear.

most of the participants stayed and a small handful dropped out.

we went into a big area with tables and chairs.

I sat in the third row.

we began the test.

it was easy since I learned it in my last life.

she got a perfect score after they calculated the test papers.

many of them failed and few have succeeded to get a decent score

" the 20 other participants will come back tomorrow for the next test and the emperor will choose to be his maid. if you arent early then you would be automatically be disqualified. you have to be at 6 am at the front of the gate, understood"

the butler went away after his announcement.

'I have to get a cottage' i thought

but as I look around every cottage was gone now I had to get back home on foot

"ugh.." I groaned

A fancy cottage stopped by her at her footsteps.

A handsome man showed up.

his silky red hair flowed through the wind, his eyes are like a glistening emerald, I was in my fancies, I stopped and thought 'why is my heart throbbing?' i touched my face 'Why is my face so hot?' I was confused as to why my body is doing this.

"Hi, I saw you walking there alone. Do you need a ride?" the handsome man said

" Yes," I said directly,' like why would I say no to him'

I went into the cottage with him

we talked about many things I even told him about my revenge, he told me that they are brothers and that he would help me since he hated him.
