The bus was packed, bodies pressed against one another since the school board thought only two buses was enough for the field trip. Two buses for three classes of 21 students.
You were currently pressed up against the window and your friend, Tyler. Who was currently trying to talk above everyone else, god knows how you hated that. His voice kept booming so close to your ear that you couldn't focus on your manga.
You took this as a chance to elbow him in his ribs, quite harshly. "Oi! What was that for!?"
You ignored him as you gently turned the page to your book. You could feel his intense gaze on you not waver so you decided to let him know you acknowledged his presence.
"Yes?"
You can easily see an irk mark appear on his forehead.
"Wow Y/N, you really surprised me there! I didn't know you knew how to read!"
Tyler snickered as he ripped the book from my hands. "mmmhmm. Yeah. Mmhmm. I know some of these words."
