Mio × reader: Love and Sickness

(Y/n pov)

I'm sick. I got a fever a few days ago and now I can't go to school.

Y/n: How did I even get sick?

~Flaskback~

Yui: Y/n, it's raining! I forgot my umbrella at home!

My close friend, Yui said as rain continued pouring down.

Y/n: I have an umbrella, you can take it.

Yui: Thanks, Y/n!

Yui said as she ran off.

Y/n: I guess I'm also gonna make a run for it.

~Flashback end~

I guess that makes sense- My thoughts were disturbed as the door of my room suddenly opened. It was Mio, a close friend... A special friend.

Mio: I heard you got sick so I came here to check on you.

She said as she took a chair and sat beside my bed.

Y/n: You didn't have too, you know?

Mio: I need to.

Y/n: Fine. So what did you bring?

Mio: Your mom made soup for you and she told me to feed it to you.

Y/n: Feed me?

Mio: Yup. Now, say "Aaaa"

She said as she directed the spoon with soup near my mouth, I followed and opened my mouth.

Y/n: Isn't this a bit embarrassing?

Mio: It is but I know you like it.

Y/n: Wh- what?

Mio: Open up.

She said as she fed me again. This continued on and on until I finished the bowl of soup.

Mio: I gotta go now. Bye, Y/n!

Y/n: Goodbye!

I said as Mio left.

~A week later~

I am now finally able to go to school, I reached Ritsu but see Mio nowhere in sight.

Y/n: Good morning, Ritsu!

Ritsu: Good morning, you look hapoy today.

Y/n: Yeah, where's Mio?

Ritsu: She said she's not coming to school today.

Y/n: Is that so? Well, see you later!

I said as I went to my room, wondering why Mio is absent.

~After classes~

I immediately went to Mio's place. After thinking, maybe she got sick because of me. It's a viable reason. I knocked on her door as I was greeted by her mother. Her mother then told me that she is in fact, sick. I then went to her room to see her lying down on the bed.

Y/n: I- I'm sorry. Because of me, you got sick.

I said as I sat down beside the bed.

Mio: Oh, don't worry about it.

Y/n: Are you sure? I'll do anything for you.

Mio: Anything? Help me sleep by holding my hand and patting my head.

She said blushing as I was also shocked from her request.

Y/n: I- if that's what you want...

I held her hand and started patting his head... After a few minutes, she fell asleep.

Y/n: She's so cute...

I took off her hand from my grasp as I took the chance and kisses her on the forehead.

Y/n: I gotta go now, goodbye, Mio.

I turned around and was met by a surprise. Ritsu, Yui, Tsumugi were there at the door. I was petrified and embarrassed as the for sure saw what I did.

Ritsu: I knew it!

Tsumugi: Nice moves there, Y/n.

Yui: Ui is like that to me too. Are you and Mio siblings?

Yui said as Ritsu whispered something to her.

Yui: Oh, I get it now.

Y/n: Could you guys keep this a secret?

Ritsu: Maybe.

Y/n: C'mon, guys.

Ritsu: Fine...

Y/n: Thanks, gotta go now. Bye!

I said as I went out of Mio's room and started walking back home.

~Meanwhile~

(Ritsu pov)

Tsugumi: Should we tell, Mio-chan?

Yui: We should!

Ritsu: No! Let them be.
