I'm Y/n L/n, top of the class. A very basic and short introduction but that's all I can say.

Mio: Good morning, Y/n!

Y/n: Good morning, let's go?

Mio: Sure!

Said by a childhood friend of mine, Mio. Mio and I live very closely to each other and since we went to the same school, we decided to walk together everyday.

Mio: Today's the first day of our last year of high school, time moves so fast, right?

Y/n: It sure does.

Mio: And you'll get to see Yui again.

Y/n: Sh- Shut up!

Mio mentioned Yui. Yui is a bandmate of Mio and has been my crush since first year high school. When I told Mio that I had a crush on Yui, she was very surprised.

~Flashback~

Y/n: I like Yui.

When I said that, Ritsu and Mio both spat out the water they were drinking.

Ritsu: Are you joking?

Mio: There's no way you're serious.

Y/n: I'm serious! I like her!

Mio: Are you saying that-

Ritsu: The top of the class is in love with the airhead?!

Y/n: Yes...

Mio: We never knew you like airheads, Y/n.

Y/n: It's a strange fetish- I mean, preference.

~Flashback end~

And until now, I still like her. I don't even know why, to be honest. I just keep falling from her smiles and clumsy moments.

Mio: Y/n?

I was brought back to reality by Mio and at the same time, I realized that we're already at school.

Y/n: Sorry, I was just thinking about something.

Mio: Anyways, Yui's there! Yui! Ritsu! Tsumugi! Good morning!!!

They then rushed to us and...

Ritsu: We got a peek at the list of sections! We're all classmates! Including you, Y/n!

Mio: Really?!

Yui: Yes, Ricchan!

We all cheered happily. This is gonna be a fun year.

~Timeskip to Valentine's day~

Today, I made chocolates! I'm pretty good at baking myself. I plan on giving it to Yui, this is my only opportunity after all. All my high school life I kept my bottled feelings untouched but I'm confessing it now and what better day to confess than Valentine's.

Mio: Y/n, you ready to give the chocolates you prepared for Yui?

Y/n: I'm kinda nervous but it would do.

Mio: Let's go then.

We went to the music room and saw Mio's bandmates there, even Azusa-chan who is a year younger than us.

Y/n: Uhm... Yui.

They all looked at me and...

Yui: Hello, Y/n!

She then went near me.

Y/n: I've been meaning to give this to you.

I said as I got the chocolate box from bag and handed it over to her.

Y/n: I like you, Yui. Please go out with me!

Yui: Huh? What does that mean?

I facepalmed... I thought it was a perfect confession already...

Y/n: Will you please be my girlfriend?

Yui: Oh... Yes! I'd love to be your girlfriend!

Yui then hugged me as Mio, Ritsu, and Tsumugi applauded. Best day ever.

~Few days later~

Today, me and Yui are going on our very first date. I'm at the front of her house waiting for her to get ready. Suddenly, the door opened and revealed Yui on her casual attire.

Y/n: Let's go?

Yui: Yeah!

We then went out and started our date...

~One date later, it's not like the author got lazy or anything~

Yui: I had a very great time, Y/n!!!

Y/n: Me too.

Yui: We should go out on a date often!

We then reached her house as I offered to walk her home after the date was finished.

Yui: Goodbye, Y/n!

Y/n: Good-

Suddenly, Yui kissed me on the lips. It took me by surprise but it felt nice.

Y/n: Yu- Yui...

Yui: Ui said that I should kiss you because you're my boyfriend. Well, I'll go inside now. Goodbye!

She then closed the door leaving me alone...

Y/n: A- Airheads are good lovers...
