Lucy p.o.v.

Me and Ezra got a job from the guild master to find salamander the strongest wizard in fiore to get into our guild. Makarov told of salamanders past. Makarov said " salamander was a bright young boy. Until he was four his parents and brother were murdered in front of him he was taken and tortured until a dragon named igneel took him in. The torture caused salamander to be left with multiple scars, and no right eye, and right arm, and mental scars as well his torturers were all women so he has a fear of women. He is still kind, and caring towards people with a bright smile, but behind it is a lot of pain, sorrow, and fear. Igneel also died in front of him at the hands of Acnologia. Be warned girls this is your toughest job yet the magic Council has tasked us with recruiting him to our guild in hopes of getting him the life he never had one where he can live, and love without the worry of it all vanishing in front of him."

Ezra p.o.v.

When Makarov finished me and Lucy looked at each other we both had bad pasts, but his sounds ten times more horrible than ours combined. " master what does he look like." I said. He said " he has pink hair, and he is also strongly built like guildarts ." Ok we now know what to look for. " Thank you master." Me and Lucy said. We took off to Hargeon in search of salamander. We found him in town fighting members of a dark guild dropping them like flies. Me and Lucy just watched in amazement, but then a bunch of demons came to the battle, and salamander took them down as well with ease, and without destroying the town. He then looked over to the horizon, and started to walk off. Me, and Lucy went to him to talk to him, but he jumped back in fear, and was going to take off, but fell from the fact he was bleeding from a big hole in his stomach. We took him to the guild to Wendy, and she said "He had been bleeding for days it was a miracle he is still alive, and conscious during the fight." Me, and Lucy looked at each other in awe. How could he fight that well when he was bleeding out.

Lucy p.o.v.

After me and Ezra were done looking at each other. Makarov came in, and said " He is a survivor he has been fighting to stay alive since the day he saw his family die he made a promise to live for them it was the last words he said to them. His father had a will written that said the final will and testament of the deceased Luke Dragneel " I ask my worldly possessions pass to my son Natsu Dragneel. Please my son be strong. You are young, but destined to do great things make the most of your opportunities, and use them to safeguard this world from forces beyond its control, and never abandon anyone to fate no matter how cruel to you they may be there might be some goodness in then so forgive them anyway and be kind like the good man I know you will become." Me, and Erza looked at each other with an 'O' face. " I promise on my life dad" we looked over to Natsu to see that he said that in his sleep with tears rolling down his face.

We looked at him in shock how can he hear that in his sleep. Makarov knew what we were thinking, and told us he is the fire, and lightning dragon king so he has the senses of a dragon he also is immune to fire, and lightning, and has ice magic from his family. Me, and Erza were astonished to think that this guy has three elements. We both sat there, and waited for him to wake up. He woke up after two days. He said thank you to us, and said that he wanted to join Fairy Tail. We looked at master and he said yes he had a red/ yellow guild mark put on his left shoulder. Makarov's medical friend came over, and looked Natsu over, and made him an arm out of magic that was like his old arm, but his eye wasn't able to be healed up, because of the damage to the eye socket she told us whoever did it used a wooden spoon. Me, and Erza both shuddered at the thought of someone doing it to someone else. Natsu was rather calm actually we asked why, and he said " You girls saved me, and brought me here. I don't know why, but I feel I can trust you girls. Thank you for saving me." We both blushed. He gave us a smile that seemed to brighten the room. When Cana came in he went to the corner curled up in a ball shaking me, and Erza went to him, and got him to calm down. We ( me, Erza, and Natsu) went to the masters office, and the master told Natsu to take off his shirt which he did. Me, and Erza were mortified to see all the scars on his body there were too many to count and they were all big, but underneath all of them was branded E.N.D. on his chest. Makarov then said that those that tortured him were after his family fortune, but when they realized the family was dead they decided to just torture him more until one day Igneel the fire dragon came and saved him when he was 8. He endured four years of torture then Igneel taught him dragon slayer magic for 2 years then Acnologia came, and killed Igneel." Me, and Erza were astonished, and surprised he survived all of this, and is the way he is today. The smile he had before was replaced with a look of sorrow, and sadness. Which pulled on me, and Erza's heart strings. We hugged him, and he hugged us awkwardly since he was still getting used to the new arm.
