A year has passed now, Tis the year 1099 A.D. The European crusaders numbers have been reduced to some 1,200 cavalry and 12,000 foot soldiers. On June 7, 1099, the Christian army reached the holy city, and finding it heavily fortified, began building three enormous siege towers. By the night of July 13, the towers were complete, and the Christians began fighting their way across Jerusalem's walls. On July 14, Godfrey's men were the first to penetrate the defenses, and the Gate of Saint Stephen was opened. The rest of the knights and soldiers then poured in, the city was captured, and tens of thousands of its occupants were slaughtered. Including Noah's after Kalmen in fear and within a last attempt Nikud gathered as much currency as possible and under European control they cast away their adolescent son on a ship with his aunt Shoshonna on a ship set for a voyage to Lincolnshire,England. knowing that Nikud would most likely never come into contact with her son again, she then in a last effort tattooed an inscription on Noah's inner left thigh stating in Hebrew the birth place of Noah and a small message saying that all trees can trace back their roots.
