BUT, he is also constantly being forced to live bad memories and nightmares. What ever consciousness and fight he has left he is using to try to keep the evil him from killing people as he slowly disappears or becomes corrupt.
What if evil Ritchie tries to make good him evil too as a last ditch I'm dying moment.
