It's about time I made a story for this character! His name is Zodiac and he is actually Loom's older brother! Though he acts like he should be younger. He has spent most of his life with his abusive mother, hiding in small spaces stunned his growth...
Zodiacs eyes lit up as he caught a glimpse of his sister, Loomy.
"Heya sis!" He beamed, racing over to her. "Oh my god, Zodiac are you okay? You look like you haven't eaten in weeks." Concern sparked her eyes. "Are you hungry?" She added. "Yesssss.... Mom didn't feed me or stop hitting me." He complained. "I mean you are annoying." Loomy gestured to him. "But come on. We'll eat and then meet dad at home." She told him. "Okay! Lets go!"
The. Food. Was. Disgusting.
It tasted like nothing he ever had at the northern Lights kingdom. At least their food was.. Normal, right? In Northern Lights they had fish. Squid, lobster, things like that. Of coarse, only the bits and pieces of that stuff were thrown into his room, where he spent most of his time locked up. Loomy explained how dad hated eating fish, that they were residents of the ocean, that they could not be eaten. The boy was confused, but it was better than being at home. "So what's the plan for tomorrow?" Zodiac asked, eating the seaweed salad. "Being here wont get you out of school idiot." Loomy said, she didn't eat, she just had a drink. "Ummm.. Whats.." He nervously began biting his thumbnail. "You don't know what school is? Ugh. No wonder you're stupid." Loomy looked ticked. Not at Zodiac, but most likely at mom. "Well, to put it simple, school is a place where you learn. You can pick two electives, which are basically just extra classes, then the rest of the four classes are called core classes. those are mainly Math, Science, History, etc." Loomy explained. "Well what electives can I pick?" Zodiac asked, tilting his head. "Hm, Art, Marine biology, psychology, STEM, biology, yadayadayada." Loomy looked to the side. "What are you in?" He asked. "STEM and Psychology." She replied. "Oh, and you can also join the student council. They have a meeting every morning which counts as an elective. I think thats right up your ally." Loomy smiled. "And why is that?" Zodiac questioned. "Well they give you pepper spray for if you are ever threatened, you get a shift where your patrolling the halls and don't have to be in class, you can write people passes for if they are late to classes..." Loomy listed. "So its like a teacher. A student teacher club." Zodiac was trying to grasp the concept. "Um.. Sure. Thats one way to put it." She shrugged. "You can apply tomorrow if you want. They are looking for new members." She finished her drink. "Ooohh alrighty!" Zodiac cheered. "And hey, if they think you're good enough, maybe you can become the leader." Loomy told him. "That basically doubles the perks. But you must be nice to everyone, because the school elects the council leader." Loomy urged him. "Alrighty. Got it."
First day of school and it was pretty exciting. Despite it being his very first time at a school, they let him apply! "Thank you for applying! We will call you in soon to announce who is joining." The woman at the front desk took the application, and off they went to class. "And heres our building!" Loomy cheered. The building looked somewhat like this:
