BACKSTORY - Klover Demetrus

Life in Hell

        In the afterlife, Klover was judged for his sins, then sent to Hell for his greediness for money and riches. He thought it could be a new and better chance for him to become rich since demons were definitely more accepting of crimes, so he worked up enough money gambling and opened his own casino for the second time. He was recognized often by people who had gone to his casino in the past life and died before he did, to which he was always flattered. Like deja vu, he quickly gained the role he had in the last life, he was a world-famous gambler and one of the richest demons in Hell.
        Klover eventually caught the attention of a strange overlord who was the one who judged him before he arrived in Hell, to which they wanted Klover to gain the role as the Sin of Greed. Their reasoning being because of his determination and hardwork to always have the most money because of his beliefs that it would make him powerful and successful, never realizing he was always truly looking for all the money he could so that he would have it all to himself.
        With this new judgement from the overlord, he was put in the position as the Sin of Greed and cursed the poor in Earth and Hell, putting his cursed victims in his handmade deck of cards he always kept with him. Each day, he would pick out a victim to give extra bad luck to the current day in the office of his new private casino named “Greed’s Secondcoming” in Hell.
        One foul day, the overlord granted him to Earth for one specific reason, to get revenge on the brother who had betrayed him and bring him down to Hell so he could receive the punishment he deserved. Upon their request, Klover arrived at Earth and began tending to his casino he treasured so much, but never bothered fulfilling the job he was sent back to Earth to accomplish.

With his second chance on Earth, Klover “Greed” Demetrus never seeked revenge on his brother, he always believed that it was a fair game and Jacks was the winner, so he left him be.
