Boscha P.O.V.
As usual I've woken up at 6:30 to get ready for my shift at 7:00, but the dream I had won't stop bugging me. I was fourteen again roaming the halls of Hexside. Willow was actually walking with me to class.
She seemed so excited to see me...but why? I was so mean to her back then it doesn't make sense.
I pushed my thoughts aside finding my tacky uniform for work, which they really need to change. "Oh crap where's aha!" Finding my name tag I clipped it onto it's designated spot. "Although nobody cares still required." I groaned walking out of my room.
"I'm not missing out so don't ask me again~"
"Thanks for your concern~" My scroll started to play my ringtone making me sing along. "But here's the thing~"
"Never been in love!~"
Opening my scroll I answered the call hearing my boss on the other end. "Excuse me Boscha?"
"Uhh yes sir? Is there something you need before I head in for my shift?"
"I'm afraid you aren't going to have a shift for work today..."
"What?!" I accidentally raised my voice to a yell. Causing me to stutter when I tried to quiet back down. "W-what's going on? D-did Edric prank call you again?!"
"I'm afraid he won't be coming in for his shift either. Boscha we've been put out of business by a newly opened flower shop."
"Flower shop? But we're 'Apple blood cafe'! What do flowers have to do with our business?!"
"The flower shop is partly a cafe, and hasn't stopped growing in customers. Unfortunately their putting everyone out of business at the moment."
"Thank you for the notice."
"You're welcome Boscha. I'll call you in a few days for more information, but for now I'd look for a new job." And with a click I could tell he hung up. I put away my scroll and sighed.
I was supposed to get the money to pay rent today, and it's due Friday!
"Unngh of course this happens to me! At the perfect timing too!" Turning on my heel I went back into my room throwing off my uniform, and putting something comfy on before flopping onto my bed. "Well I guess I could see if Skara is free, but I don't think I can deal with her energy right now..." I laid there for a while starring at my ceiling. "Hmm who else could be free? Willow maybe? Wait Willow?! Why'd I think of her we haven't even spoke since Hexside, nor were we ever on good terms?!" I smacked myself for the idiocy of the moment. "But I can't stop thinking about her....Why can't I stop thinking about her?!"
"Hey Boscha could you talk to yourself about your crush quieter please?" My roommate Cat shouted from her room. "I don't gotta be up for a few more hours..."
"I am not crushing on Willow Park!"
"Remove the not from that sentence and you are!" I groaned letting Cat get the last word. "Hey if you need something to do will you get my order from that new flower shop downtown?"
"Sure whatever." I sat back up glancing at my outfit noticing it was a bit worn out but shrugged. "Eh, it's only a short trip" I walked out of my room grabbing my house key. "Oh hey real quick, what do you need flowers for?"
"It's a kind of fern so not a flower, anyways it'll help make a potion. I'll text you my order stuff so you can get it."
"Alright thanks." I walked outside and into town. Which was surprisingly quiet.
Once my destination was slightly in view a crowd of people could be seen. They were fighting for a better place in a misshapen line. "Everyone please calm down! We can get to you all just please be patient!" The crowd went quiet at the voice. I'm surprised it's all it took with how close they were to an all-out brawl. "Remember all preorders are picked up over here!" Turning the corner I got a full view of the building and the outrageously large amount of people. Looking towards the front of the crowd I searched for the preorders section. Once I found it I stopped walking when I saw who was behind the stand.
