Emma slowly awoke and rubbed her eyes. She peeked up at her window to see the daylight peering through at her. Looking around her room for some memory of the last night's events. Standing from her bed, she stretched her arms above her head, feeling a satisfying 'Pop'. She groaned at the feeling and sighed out, deciding to leave the safety of her room, She opened the door. The house was silent, meaning both of her parents were out. Emma's eyes narrowed and her eyebrows furrowed as she walked out, shutting the door behind her. 'What should I do... I missed work yesterday and haven't been called... Plus what happened...' The girl grit her teeth in frustration, before brushing her hand through her auburn hair. She walked towards the backyard, where she often would watch the woods as a child, and stared fondly. Smiling softly she leaned against the fence that blocked her from the one place she had always felt drawn to. Chills ran down her spine as she felt eyes watching her, like a Predator hunting it's prey. Following the source of the sensation with her eyes, she saw Golden eyes peering at her through the darkness of the Tree's shadow.

Emma felt fear and curiosity as she continued to stare at the eyes, subconsciously moving closer to the being. Just as she took a step beyond the safety of the fence, a figure jumped out. A above average sized wolf stood in front of the girl, growling ferally at the Wolf-owner of the Golden eyes. Walking from his shadow-like safety, a large black wolf showed himself. Emma's green eyes widened as she took a step back, The wolf standing before her protectively was a light grey color, not allowing her to see it's eyes as it stalked closer to the Black wolf. In the blink of an eye, the Grey canine had tackled the other, snapping it's jaws in an attempt to distract it from it's hidden goal. Emma watched the two for a moment, finding her feet frozen in their place, but the golden eyes of the black wolf made her run. Just beyond the safety of her porch, she could hear loud paws thumping towards her. Adrenaline rushed through her veins as she just barely moved to the side to avoid the Black wolf's jaws clamping onto her. She lost her balance and yelped as she fell backwards onto her backside. Opening her eyes, which had closed from the impact, she came mere inches from the Golden eyes that stared her down. Tears sprung into her eyes as she grit her teeth. The world seemed to slow as she watched the wolf open his mouth and come close to biting her neck, when he stopped suddenly upon hearing a howl from the woods.

Drawing back from his planned attack, he snarled in the direction of the howl. The wolf looked at the Auburn haired beauty for a moment before raising his paw and raking his claws against her shoulder, drawing blood. Emma could practically hear the Wolf's thoughts, 'I. Own. You.' Trying to avoid screaming in pain, she covered her bloody shoulder, watching as the wolf stalked off in the opposite direction. Emma sighed out shakily once the Wolf had disappeared from her sight. Looking around, she realized that the other wolf was gone, but instead, a naked injured man with shaggy brown hair laid bloodied on the grass. She gasped, pushing past the pain that erupted from her new, torn shoulder, she rushed to him. "Hey! Hey, Wake up! Who are you!? Why are you injured?!" She said in a panicked tone, looking around. 'Where did that wolf go?' She thought curiously before turning her attention to the man who laid unconscious in her yard. Carefully she sat him up, draping his arm around her neck, careful of her own injury. Taking him into her house, she sat him on the couch, grimacing at the amount of blood that covered the sofa. 'How will I explain this to my parents? - I was attacked by a wolf, but another wolf saved me, then this boy showed up!' She thought sarcastically whilst looking for the 'Emergency Med Kit' she knew her parents had kept around. After finding it she walked back to the man, momentarily forgetting her shoulder, as she began tending to his wounds. She noticed the fang marks on his shoulder and furrowed her eyebrows, brushing her fingers against the scarred over wound. 'Has he been hurt before by wolves? Maybe they are more dangerous than I thought...' She thought, wiping the rest of the blood from the Man.

Placing her hand against his forehead, she pulled her hand back with a hiss. 'He's burning up... I should get an icepack and put it on his forehead. Maybe that will help...' She thought, quickly rushing to get an Icepack. She reached into the freezer, pulling out the coldest icepack she could find, before going to grab a Paper towel to wrap it, she suddenly groaned. Quickly she moved her hand to her shoulder and pulled it away, smelling the metallic blood that had poured down her shoulder. 'Damn... I was so concerned with Him, I forgot to deal with it.' She thought pressing a paper towel to it and also wrapping the Icepack. She walked back to the man, softly setting it on his forehead and began treating her own wound. Sighing at the sight of reduced redness on her skin, she cleaned up the extra blood that was still rolling down her arm. After a few moments, she looked over at the Man. Familiarity filled her as she looked at him, 'Who is he...' She suddenly made a realization, 'That's the 'boy' that showed up at my Truck! Now that I get a good look at him... He's not a boy..' She thought sitting next to the man who laid unconscious. 'Just... Who are you?' Her lips fell into a straight line.
