Bedroom Door

She locks her bedroom door
To silence the deafening roar
Of words that struck her heart
Like claws ripping through art
Tearing away the color
Tearing away light
That once was so bright
She slid down the wall
Attempting to call
Anyone
Anything
But then she remembers
She's living a lie
No one really knows
That all she wants is to die
