It's raining again, so Dahlia and the others pull their hoods up.
Zara is the only one without a hoodie, though. She didn't know it was gonna rain. She's left with the drifting coldness, which washes over her bare arms. The crunch of the leaves below the group's feet make Zara shiver.
"Where are we even going?" Zara asks.
"I don't know, Kaiden gave me the directions," Yeosang answers.
"Well, hurry up. I'm soaking wet."
The group comes to a stop at some sort of creek. There's a single tree lining the area.
"This place is cool," Taylor exclaims with awe.
She sits at the base of the creek, watching the rapid water go by.
"Why did he lead us into a forest?" Zara asks.
"You act like I have the answers to everything," Yeosang sighs.
"Maybe you do," Zara grins.
"I don't."
---
"I think I'm going to pass out," Taylor simply states.
Kaiden shrugs as he points to the body. Yellow caution tape is carelessly draped around the area. Police, medics, and more people surround the area.
"Can we like- see the body?" Yeosang asks.
Kaiden nods, and walks over to the crime scene.
The body lay motionless and lifeless, of course. It's laying face-up in a pool of dark red liquid.
"Ew, oh my god," Allison squeals.
The body seemed to be a teenage girl, at least 15 or 14. The girl's eyes are completely white, probably rolled up. Both of her arms are deformed, twisted painfully. Her lower body is draped with grey covers.
"Any clues?" Zara asks.
Kaiden hands Zara a sticky note splattered with dry blood.
"Dude, at least communicate with us," Daniel huffs.
"What does the note say?" Dahlia asks Zara.
Zara is about to speak, but Taylor interrupts her.
"Why do you have that in the first place?" Taylor asks.
"I stole it when the others weren't paying attention."
"Kaiden, you what?" Yeosang yells.
"It's not a big deal," Kaiden shrugs. Zara hands the note to Dahlia.
Dahlia, after reading it, shoves the note into Kaiden's face.
"What the fuck, dude! Give this to the police, this is a huge clue," Dahlia says angrily.
Kaiden grabs the note, "I found the note on the body."
"We didn't ask, just give it to the police, please," Yeosang says.
Taylor mutters out, "Acab."
Allison tilts her head. "What did it say, Dahlia?"
"Why don't you read it, Kaiden?" Dahlia glares.
Kaiden smiles, and starts to read it.
