"Serkan! Why don't you kiss your bride?" Derya hanım reckoned politely, while sipping her red wine and scrutinizing the young couple, in front of her eyes. The tension between of them, was evident to the say the least, hence she could not help herself to dig more into the matter. Serkan scoffed merrily, and shared a brief gaze with Eda, knowing if he continued for even one more second, she will kill him with those daggers already.

The glint in his eyes registered, whatever he was up to. She didn't want to create a scene but he was surely asking for it now. Shaking her head in disapproval, Eda mumbled a, 'I'll kill you Bolat." He must've heard that because otherwise he wouldn't have let his beard gently scathe her forehead. Eda closed her eye for a second, knowing this was to come maybe a hundred years later, or more than that. Serkan had to admit, he hadn't even felt her completely before she groped his thigh, in between her nails.

Wincing in pain, and struggling to hide it, he settled down grimacing at her. "Behave yourself, or next time it would be your cro-" She didn't realize the words coming out of her mouth were rather enjoyable at the moment. "Cro-? Finish your sentence Eda Yildiz." He smirked, pulling his right arm around her, protectively. She eyed his gesture with a raised eyebrow and remarked coyly, "I'll make sure you don't walk out of this room, safe and sound, Serkan Bolat." Serkan led out a stifle, struggling to widen the distance between both of them. "Öyle mi?"

"Öyle." Eda beamed at him with a glare, this time she wasn't going to let him overpower her. While Aydan hanım was busy discussing fashion and girls with her friends, Serkan whispered in Eda's ear,

"Why are you here?"

"What makes you think I can't be here Serkan?" Serkan shrugged pensively, "I wondered your priorities lied somewhere else now."

"efEndim?" The chunk of chicken breast would have almost spit on plate, if she hadn't composed herself mid-way. "New beginning, yenı ask, I see you have an ability for moving on fast."

Eda knew where he was coming from. Her silly antics and a slight misunderstanding did work somehow, but nevertheless somehow, she was unable to enjoy it. "Unlike you Serkan, you only seem to have an ability for throwing people out of your life." Moving closer, he pressed his thumb against her shoulder, "Ne?" She scowled slowly, careful to not catch the attention of Aydan hanım guests. "Keep your hands off me, Serkan Bolat!" He noticed, Derya hanim was eyeing their bickering, with a close. Before she could suspect anything, and inquire his mother about her future daughter-in-law, Serkan pulled Eda towards his side, and whispered a gentle, "my priorities lie, exactly beside me, Eda hanım."

"You're impossible." She replied in disgust, unable to escape his hold this time. She just knew what to do this time. Crisscrossing her leg, she pressed her heel against his lower leg suggestively. "Napıyosun?" Indeed, he was taken aback, otherwise that clueless Serkan Bolat face wasn't rarely familiar. It would've lasted longer, if Eda hadn't pressed the pointed heel, right above his, left foot toe.

"Napiyos-" Serkan screeched, gritting his teeth. Holding a strawberry in between her fingers, she exclaimed loudly, "Ne öldü Askim?" Aydan, along with her friends began to look at them, curiously. Shaking his head in denial, Serkan grimaced, "Hiçbir şey, canım"

Moving the strawberry closer to his mouth, she gestured for him to have it. "Emın misinin/are you sure?" Serkan uttered hoarsely, moving closer. He was about to touch the tip of strawberry with his lips, when eda shrieked, "Are you out of your mind?Çılgın "

Instantly, she placed the fruit back on the plate, leaving an amused Serkan Bolat behind, who was struggling to laugh out loud. "İyımisın. Should we go to the doctor?" She was baffled, not at his laughter but at the possibility of him eating that strawberry and- She didn't even want to think about what could've happened. "Allah Allah!, look whose being a hypochondriac now." "Nevertheless, I knew you would not let me have it."

Breathing a sigh of relief, Eda looked at him with a pensive look, "So do you trust me now?"

With a meaningful look, Serkan gave away a subtle smile only to be seen by her, "I trust with my entire life, Eda." "Then beware Serkan, I might someday poison with strawberries, someday." She remarked sarcastically, mouthing something inaudible, and wriggling her shoulder from beneath his hand. "Eat your food."

"I'll be waiting- görüşürüz ." He stood up immediately, placing a peck on the top her head, leaving a bewildered Eda behind.

End.
