YG entertainment is always fair with their artists, everyone can do whatever they want except a few things. YG entertainment offers Kpop idols stunning outfit choices, amazing choreographies choreographed by amazing choreographers, vocal instructor who helps trainees and idols with finding their own voice and style, also amazing producers and song writers. Payment is fair and equal based on how popular the artist is, more of the money go to the artists and not the company. Every group gets to release at least 1 album/song a year and none of the artists are left out.
here's a list with thing artists under YG entertainment CAN and CAN'T do:
Things artist are allowed to do:
1. Everyone gets to eat whatever they need to and no one is starving or keeping an extreme diet.
2. Idols can date
3. Idols are allowed to talk with trainees and people at award shows/concerts/festivals and more no matter what their gender identity is.
4. Artists have the right to speak what's on their mind whiteout having to keep it to themselves.
5. Idols and trainees have the right to tell their teacher/instructor when they're tired and depending on how tired they are they can take a break.
6. Idols can talk to whoever they want but they must be polite and respectful.
7. Idols can manage their own SNS profiles without asking anyone before head but
They must be really careful with what they post.
8. Idols have the right to communicate with fans. Such as taking gifts, talking with them, giving gifts, meeting and greeting fans, texting fans, surprising fans, giving gifts to fans etc.
9. Idols are allowed to have friends from other companies and show it in public as long as it does not break any rules from the opposite company.
10. Last but not least , idols can write/produce their own music.
Things artist ARE NOT allowed to do:
1. Take drugs or pills that their doctor didn't allow them to take.
2. Idols can not act disrespectfully or rude.
3. Idols cannot leak information for the company or the people working for it.
4. Idols CAN NOT bully fellow members, other groups, trainees, staff etc.
5. ARTISTS CAN NOT copy music/lyrics from other artists and pretend it's theirs.
6. Idols can not upload music or lyrics to a song without asking for the producer's/songwriter's opinion first.
7. Idols can not stop working without the contract ending.
8. Idols can not do/say things that can hurt fan's/other people's feelings.
