I looked at a gorgeous out look to the bay behind the restaurant with a small picnic. He lent over to his side and pressed play on his CD player and a soft sweet song came on.
He placed his hand out in front of me and said “May I have this dance?”
I grabbed his hand. “I would be delighted.” We pranced off around the green grass of the garden. When we slowed down and stopped laughing we just danced in place. His hands were around my waist and my hands were around his neck. I placed my head on his chest and closed my eyes cherishing this moment.
“Babe I am so sorry I let you down today.” Harry said following with a sweet kiss on the top of my head.
“Baby, stop apologizing.” I said lifting my head meeting our eyes together. “It’s fine.”
“Alright.” He said smiling. “Let’s eat!”
We ran over to the sheet placed on the floor with a small picnic basket. We sat down and dug in.
“So…Did anyone…else dance…with you.” Harry said in between chews. I just chuckled. “What!”
“Didn’t your mom ever teach you manner’s!” I shouted laughing.
“Shut up!” He said with a huge smile on. “So?”
“What…Oh yeah…Um…Simon, Liam for a bit, Maxine had to leave early, and um…huaknc.” I said.
“Who?”
“Hunfbdc.”
“Who?”
“Hunter.” I sighed.
“Hayes.” Harry said stern.
“No pie!” I said throwing my hands in the air. “Yes Hayes.
“Why?”
“Because he saw me and wanted to talk. Is that such a big deal?” I asked looking at him anger and sadness burrowing in his eyes.
“Well it’s just last time you guys got close you forgot about me and he hurt you so much.” He said looking at the ground.
I scooted over next to him placing my head on his lap so I was looking into his eyes now all full sad.
“I’ll be fine.” I said placing my hand on his cheek.
“I love you.” He aid placing a kiss on my lips and lifting my body so I was on his lap.
“I love you too.” I said smiling as our foreheads touched.
There were clapping in the background that startled us both and made us bang our foreheads together and putting us both in pain.
“(clap clap) Oh how beautiful.” Hunter said.
“Oh hi hunter what are you doing here.” I asked rubbing my forehead.
“My family owns this place.” He said walking towards us.
I looked down and when I looked back up they were full blown out yelling at each other.
“HEY!” I shouted. They never stopped. “HEY!” I shouted again no stop. “HEY!”I shouted. Now they stopped. “Both of you stop.” I said anger in my voice. “What is going on.”
“He said that he wanted to go out with you and then I told him that I was dating you and he just started going out screaming.” Harry said. Hunter nodded knowing never to lie to me.
“And so you played along.” I said.
“Well I didn’t want to lose you.” He defended. He tried to hold my hand but I pulled away.
