Those eyes, they screamed terror and malice. The way he gave his victim a look, it always scared the shit out of them. Who is this person? What does he want from me? Us? From what I have remembered it was all—

"Goddamnit! Go with her and run! I'll be right behind!" Was that Natsu? What's happening? My vision is so blurry and everything seems so slow. I turned my head to the side and looked at my hand, it was covered in blood and I'm in a hospital bed? I-I can't remember what happened. Before I could open my mouth and ask the person accompanying me what was happening- sounds of gunshots echoed all over the halls. We were in a hospital. My vision is vague but I can see a pool of blood on the floor along with a figure with salmon locks.

A lump on my throat started forming, I know who is that very well. My limp hand started to reach out for him.

"N-Natsu.." I croaked weakly, the person who was after us showed up right in front of me and pointed a gun at me. Am I gonna die? I couldn't help but feel so weak and useless, that person was about to pull the trigger when—

"Mama!" Nashi called out and gave Lucy's cheeks soft slaps to wake her mother up, currently the blond female is sleeping on the couch- moving and groaning, she was having a nightmare. Nashi whom arrived only few minutes ago started shaking her in attempt for her to wake up while Natsu was at the kitchen preparing some snacks. Finally, Lucy's eyes slowly opened and was welcome by her teary-eyed daughter.

"Hey, what's wrong?" She mumbled and rubbed her temple, sitting up as well as picking Nashi and setting the small child on her lap. Nashi whimpered and wrapped her small arms around Lucy, Natsu arrive at the scene and noticed the glum mood surrounding.

"What happened?" He remarked and sat down beside Lucy and placed the plate full of cookies along with a big glass of milk on the coffee table. "I had that nightmare again" She sighed and gave Natsu a glance who gave her a short stare.

"What if he comes back Natsu?" This question got him off guard and was quick to comfort her, she's uneasy of this. He's sure. Natsu smiled and wrapped his strong arms around his wife and daughter, whispering things on Lucy's ear to calm her down.

Next morning came,

"Looks like we're running out of food, let's go buy groceries?" Natsu suggested as he closed the refrigerator. Lucy nodded with a small smile and mouthed a soft 'yeah' before placing the last plate back on the cabinet.

"Let's take Nashi with us" Lucy inquired and began cooing at her daughter as she picked her up from her chair.

The grocery trip was soon to end after they paid for their goods but the couple decided to go on a park and let maybe, Nashi play on the playground. They agreed on the idea, the child needs to play around with other kids too. Lucy let Nashi run around for a bit, it made her smile that she began playing with other kids too. But someone on a bench nearby had their eyes on the salmon haired toddler as well, she has to capture her at any cost. While Natsu and Lucy were busy talking to themselves, the old lady hired to kidnap Nashi, started moving.

She began approaching the child and crouched in front of her.

"Hey sweetie" her voice was sickly sweet, it would not fail to gain a child's attention. Nashi gave her a questioning look before approaching the old lady but from on the near left, dark blue eyes gave the old woman a look. Then he started advancing towards her leaving a bluenette girlfriend of his dumbfounded.

Nashi didn't fail to notice the approaching man. The old lady was about to snatch her when Gray poked her shoulder.

"May I ask what are you doing?" Gray was not a dumb man to not see what was going on, Juvia soon popped up and gave a dirty look to the old woman. "Oh! I was just talking to my granddaughter!" The old lady reasoned out, but her gray hair and purple eyes wasn't enough to convince Gray that they were related.

"Juvia doesn't think so" Juvia butted in and scooped Nashi up inside her arms and cradled the small child. The old woman hissed at them and left when Gray threatened to call the police if she won't leave right away.

"Where are your parents kid?" Gray casually asked and leaned in to examin the child, Nahsi didn't respond and stared up at him. Surely she recognized him, he was that guy beside Natsu on one of the photos her father showed her. Nashi opened her arms out for Gray, he hesitated but took in the small toddler inside his arms.

"Papa" Nashi mumbled. "Where's your papa?" Gray asked and glanced at her, the toddler then pointed somewhere. He turned his heel and his mouth went agape seeing the person he least expected.

"Natsu?"

"Gray?"

"Natsu! Have you found— Gray?"

"Lucy?"

Juvia was somewhere not too far from them, talking to someone then she ran back to her beloved.

"Natsu-san? Lucy-san?"

"Papa!" Nashi cheered and leaned in close to the male pinkette, Gray was out of words. While was Natsu and Lucy as already a nervous wreck. Natsu gladly received Nashi and was looking away from Gray's gaze.

"What the hell is the meaning of this!?" The raven haired man screeched.
