The Funeral

* police and ambulance sirens are sounding off*

Two policemen and two doctors get out of their vehicles and walk up to the upside down car. Policeman 1 is a young cocky rookie. Policeman 2 is an old seasoned veteran cop in his early 40's. The two doctors mirror the cops exactly.

Policeman 1: "Man this is a nice car, how could someone f@$k up this bad boy". He says insensitively.
Policeman 2: "Hey knock it off, we got a job to do remember!"
Policeman 1: "Yea Yea." He says annoyed.

The doctors bend down to check the pulses of the two bodies that lay sprawled out along the street.

Doctor 1: "I got nothing." He says to the other doctor.
Doctor 2: "Me too." He says disappointed.
Policeman 2: "Dispatch we got two dead bodies on Plaza and Greenwood." He says speaking into his vest walkie talkie.
Walkie talkie: "Rodger that, an investigation team will be there in 5."
Police 2: "Copy that."

Doctor 1 inspects the ring on one of the dead bodies.

Doctor 1: "Wait a damn minute, this is an Ishimoto ring!"
Policeman 1: "Wait you mean 'THE' Ishimoto, as in the richest family in town Ishimoto?"
Doctor 1: "That's the one."
Doctor 2: "That must mean this is Mina Ishimoto, and that guy over there is Dean Ishimoto."
Policeman 1: "Wow! They must be worth a fortune." He says insensitively.
Policeman 2: "They are, both of them. It's a tragedy though, who's gonna take care of their kids now that their gone?"

*1 month later, inside a church *

Pastor: "We've gathered here today to mourn the loss of greatest thing to happen to this town, the Ishimoto couple. While their souls may rest in heaven, they will always be in our hearts, through our memories and through their children. Amen."
Everyone: "Amen."
Pastor: "And now their daughter Miyuki will play the piano while performing a song."

Miyuki walks over to the piano and sits down.

Mari: "Ugh, such a show off." She says annoyed while pulling out her phone beginning to text.
Miyuki: "I will now sing and play Tabidachi no uta (koro sensei's death song)." She says as she takes a deep breath.
Miyuki: "Kaze ga fuiteru...!" She sings softly.

The song ends 5 minutes later.

Everyone: *Clap Clap Clap*
Mira: "Thank god that's over." She says as she scoffs at Miyuki although she doesn't notice.
Aunt Ryo: "Hush up child, your sister did a fine job, you should go congratulate her."
Mira: "You mean my STEP sister?" She says annoyed.
Aunt Ryo: "Go congratulate her this instant or no desert."
Mira: "FINE UUUUGGGGHHHHH!" She says storming off.

Fueled with anger Mira thought of an idea.

Mira: "I'll even give her something to drink." She says as she grabs a can of soda smirking.

Family member 1: "What a gifted child you are."
Family member 2: "playing the piano and making all A's."
Family member 3: "Your parents would be proud, bless their souls."
Miyuki: "Thank you so much." She says blushing and smiling innocently.
Mira: "Hey sis." She says with a fake smile.
Mira: "Figured you could use something to drink after working sooooooo hard on playing the piano." She says sarcastically.
Miyuki: "Oh um...thanks." She says reaching for the can.

Mira opens the can and pours it out on top of Miyuki's head.

Everyone: *GASP*
