Once we reached the tall building adjacent to our school, I asked her,
"What are we doing here?"
"What do you think?" She replied cryptically, flashing a luminous yet enigmatic smile.
'Wow,' I thought, staring at her.
"Hey what are you doing just standing there?" She said, taking my hand. "We're goin' up Williams!"
I blushed as I thought of her hand holding mine. But I wasn't able to think much about it since she was already dragging me to the elevator.
As we reached the roof, I was about to ask what we were doing here again, when I saw what she was looking at. As I looked out at the sunshine state of Florida, I realized just how far away I was from all the stress of life...
"Whoa..." I thought out loud.
"Yeah, whoa..." she repeated, breathless.
We both made our way to the ledge and sat there, looking out at the sunset till twilight. Once the sky turned deep blue, I stood up, about to walk out, when she stopped me. I sighed, then said,
"Yes, Becca?"
"Let's jump." She said.
"H-huh?"
"I said we should jump," She said again. "Since this life is horrible, let's jump to the next one, what do you say?"
I thought about this, I really did. I thought about the pros and cons...well no one's going to miss me, my parents are dead and my only friend is going to jump with me...
"Let's go," I said, taking her hand. But I stopped her for a bit. "But before we 'go to the next life', let me just say, I Love You."
"I love you too," she smiled. Then she said,"ON THREE!"
"One," I counted looking at the stars.
"Two," she whispered, looking up as well.
"THREE!" We both yelled, looking at each other, nodding, then we jumped. As we started freefalling, I looked at her, at her beautiful, shimmering face as she looked at me as well, for one, last, time. Then right before we hit the ground, we shared our first and last kiss -- and made our way to the next life.

"Nooooooo!" a young woman whisper shouted. It looked pretty weird since she is in the library, where people are supposed to be QUIET. And some people would probably be annoyed by her lack of quietness, if there were any people. Fortunately for the brunette, she is alone and the head librarian is currently in the staff lounge asleep on the couch. Actually, she's the one the librarian appointed to keep an eye on the library while she slept. Which is an easy thing for her, since in the world of the 21st century, libraries aren't teeming with people anymore, meaning more time amidst all the wonderful world of books (That also means that she wouldn't have to keep re - shelving books).
So anyways, as she continued trying to get over the fact that the two main characters died, she suddenly started thinking of her comatose grandfather, who's in the US, where she can't reach, since she's in the UK...A whole sea away...
Then without warning, tears began to fall, as she wondered why she can't just drop everything and go see how he's doing with her dad, but she knew it was useless, she already knew the answer. She couldn't go with her dad because (as usual) school first, everything else later. This is exactly why she wanted to finish school as fast as she can so she can figure out by herself what to do with rest of her life, but that's still got to wait two more years, just two more years of college left, two more...
