"Well you see... We're taking you to our house."

"What?! No! Put me down!"

Ash finally decides to say something.

"Well we're not letting you go. We're not idiots. You'd just go back to the edge of the building. Nothing is gonna happen to you while we're here."

"If I promise not to do anything, will you put me down?"

"No," Ash says in a demanding voice. "Eli, don't put her down until we get inside the house."

"So..." he trails off. "Why- why were you gonna... you know."

"I don't see how that's any of your business." I try to change the topic by saying, "Can you put me down now? I'm not a child. I can walk by myself."

Elliot looks at Ash and she shakes her head. Might as well just take advantage of it. I lay my head against his chest and close my eyes. Maybe I could get some sleep. His steps falter a little but he quickly starts walking again. That totally wasn't weird or anything. But anyways, I haven't gotten a good night sleep in forever. I've always had to keep an eye out for weird people so I always have to be on edge.

*At the house*

I feel myself being violently shaken and my eyes snap open. What? Realization hits me. I'm back on Elliot's back, once again, staring at the ground.

"Are you kidding me? Why am I back on your back?"

"Well I had to open the door and I didn't want to just drop you!"

"You could have woken me up, idiot."

"Well where's the fun in that?"

Ash groans, "Could you two stop flirting and unlock the gosh dang door? I'd like to get inside some time tonight!"

I lift my head up to look at her and make a disgusted face. "Out of all the people I could flirt with, WHY would I choose this pea brain?"

"Heyyy," he whines, "I'm right here." He goes to move his arms and I scream as I start to slip off his back.

"Dude, be careful!" Ash snaps. "Just put her down." Elliot spins around, whacking my head into the door frame in the process.

"OW! My head!"
He completely ignores me. "But you said-"

"Just put her down before you hurt her even more." She rubs her forehead like she's trying to stop a headache from coming. How ironic. I get my head slammed into a door frame and she's the one that's acting like she has a headache. I can feel the blood rushing to my head and having my head slam on the door frame really doesn't help. If this dumb dumb isn't gonna let me down, there's only one thing I can do.

"Guys I feel kind of-" I slur my words for extra effect. Of course they don't pay me any attention because of the stupid argument they're in the middle of. "Guys I feel a little light headed. I think I'm gonna-" I go limp and hold my breath.

"Uh, Eli? We need to get her inside. Like, right now."

"Shit!"

I hear the door slamming open and Eli runs into the house. Next thing I know, I'm laying on something soft. "Oh my god she's dead. Is she dead?! Please don't let her be-"

"Elliot shut up! She's not dead."

"No, I think she's dead. Oh my god we killed her." I can Imagine him shaking his head furiously. It's almost enough to make me crack a smile but I keep a straight face.
Ha, straight. I can't do anything straight. For crying out loud, I'm about as straight as a circle.
