WINGS OF FIRE THE SECRETS OF THE DESERT

CHAPTER ONE

A  dragonet was buried in the sand only his head was sticking out he looked around and popped out of the sand and he was a pale greyish green with greyish brown and a light brown underbelly he went on a hot rock and just layed there for about an hour "I'm so tired" pinecone said yawning. he took his goggles and flew off to the scorpion den. At the scorpion den he bought some rings and put them on then he bought some jerky and flew off "hmmm where should I go next......OH maybe possibility!" pinecone said. He flew all the way to possibility and his wings ached he looked around to see if there were any hybrids ~oooo is that a sand/mud hybrid I've never talked to one~ pinecone thought happily while walking over to the hybrid. "Hello what's your name?" The tall hybrid turned over he looked like a sandwing with mudwing horns and splotch's of brown scales and a guitar like instrument on his arm "oh I'm sandbar " the hybrid said "and this is my sibling ghost " sandbar pointed at the sandwing next to him the white sandwing had the lightest shade of brown splotched all over their scales "h-hi" ghost said quietly "what's your name?" sandbar said "me oh I'm pinecone I'm a rain/mud hybrid!" pinecone said happily " oh ok pinecone are you here to buy and instrument?" sandbar said while pointing at a bongo "oh no I'm just looking for hybrids and other dragons to be my friends like a traveling group that goes across the continent stuff like that !" pinecone said. "oooo. sandbar said. can i join?" "sure "pinecone said happy as ever "b-but your just going to leave me here?!" ghost said their eyes tearing up "oh ghost you'll be ok salamander can work with you "sandbar said pointing at a dark brown mudwing playing the bongos at the end of the bridge" "o-ok ill miss you please come to visit." ghost said while wiping way the tears on their face they hugged sandbar "c'mon sandbar "pinecone said flying  towards the desert "WAIT UP!" sandbar shouted lifting off and waving goodbye to ghost. They flew and flew and flew until they found a oasis " water!" sandbar cried sprinting over to the oasis and taking a few gulps of water "so sandbar do you think this it a good place to stay for a few days?" pinecone asked "umm....yes i guess but we don't have a tent or anything." sandbar said confused " I bought some rugs a while ago we got some palm leaves and the palm trees to and other plants right here so why don't we use them!" pinecone said while thinking of how to do it.  "oh great idea pine I'm going to go hunt ill try to come back at sundown! ok?" sandbar said "ok ill just make a fire." pinecone said. "hey wait how are you going to make a fire?" sandbar asked confused " oh like this!" pinecone rushed over to get some sticks and wood from the trees and he carefully stacked them up away from anything flammable and used his venom on the fire but something was different HIS VENOM WAS ON FIRE! The sticks caught on fire and BOOM fire "tada" pinecone said "fire" sandbars jaw dropped" wow ok ima go hunt now cya later " sandbar said while flying away.
