"Thanks a bunches for treating me out to lunch! I said you didn't have to." Your old friend said as you both sat down at a cafe. "It's no problem, (F/N). I just thought It'd be nice 'cause I haven't seen you in quite a while." You said with a smile as you drank your tea. "So, (Y/N), what have you been up to?" "Oh nothing. Just been sitting here in old Morioh." The two of you talked for a while. Just as you were about to leave, your friend asked, "Hey, (Y/N) do you know what a stand is?" A what? Stand? You've never heard of it. "No...I don't think I do. Why?" You questioned. "Okay, okay, here's a better explanation. Can you see this?" Just as she said those words, some spirit figure manifested beside her. 'So that's what she meant about stands...' You thought to yourself. 'But still, what is it?' "Woah- uh, yes I can see that." You said. Her face practically lit up. "REALLY?! YOU CAN?? Great!" She rejoiced. "And that's great, because...?" You asked. "It's good because...you're the only person who can see this. I think. No one I know can see my stand, and I finally found someone who can!" She said, sounding serious and happy at the same time. You felt kinda bad. "Okay, but, does it have a name?" You asked. "Of course! This is my Stand, 「Smooth Criminal」, and her ability is to slow time down for just about 5 seconds or more!" She exclaimed. "Smooth Criminal, huh...like the MJ song?" You asked, holding in a laugh. "Of course. Now, let's see if you have one." She stated "I have a Stand too?" You asked, confused. "Well I mean it wouldn't be surprising if you did. Since you can see mine, there's a high chance you have one of your own." She replied. "Let's go to your house and figure this out."

"So, how do I summon this thing?" You asked. She shrugged. "Uhm...Just stand still and close your eyes and breathe I guess. It's like meditating." You grunt and nod, and close your eyes. "Did it work?" You said opening your eyes. "Take a look to your right." She grinned and pointed. You did what she said and stood wide eyed. "This is-!" You gasped. It was a feminine humanoid thing, it had glowing eyes, and flowing hair. It also had a purple hue. "Wow...what are you gonna call it?" You looked for a bit at your stand, then grinned. "I'm going to call it: 「Purple Rain」!"
You sighed as you walk to school with your friend. "You good, (Y/N)?" "Yeah, just fine. I just hate mornings." The two of you walked into the building and went your separate ways to your classes. On the way, you accidentally bump into someone. "Ack—! I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going, forgive me." You exclaimed as you fell. "It's alright, no problem." The person you bumped into spoke. "Here." You look up as he offers his hand. With his help, you stand up and dust yourself off. "What's your name?" He asked "(Y/N). Yours?" "Higashikata. Josuke Higashikata." 'Josuke, huh? Not bad.' You thought to yourself. 'Now that I think about it, he's kind of...cute? Hot? Wait- no, not hot! Damn it! Am I catching feelings for someone I just bumped into and met?!' You shouted in your mind loudly. "Oi, you okay?" Josuke asked in concern, causing you to snap out of your current mindset. "Huh-? Yeah, yeah, I'm alright—I'm gonna head to class now, see you around." You said quickly as you speed-walked to class. "Uh, bye?" The male said to himself as you dashed away. 'That girl was kinda cute. I hope I get to see her later. Maybe I can even get her number!' He thought to himself and then walked off to class.
After school, he decides to look for you, 'cause y'know, he's interested. Luckily for him, you didn't leave for home yet. Perfect timing to start a nice conversation or something. "Well,
look who it is. (Y/N)!" Josuke called out to you. You turned around at the call of your name. "Oh hey! Josuke, was it?" You greeted the male. "That's me!" He said with a dorky smile. "So, what're you up to?" You asked. "Not much, I guess. I'm just about to walk home. You?" He said "Hm.. I'm not sure myself. I think I was gonna walk home, too." You replied. "Ah, that's great...Oh!" He piped up, like he had something he had just remembered. "What's up, Josuke?" You cocked your brow. "(Y/N), do you mind if I take- I mean grab- have- can I get your number?" He jumbled up his words, causing you to giggle. "Sure. I have some scrapbook paper left over, so I'll write it down." You took out a small piece of paper, and wrote your number on it. "Here you go!" You cheerfully said as you handed the paper to him. He flustered up a bit. "Thanks, (Y/N)! I'll message you later! Bye, I'll see you tomorrow!" Josuke ran off, with you looking after him with a smile.
