Prologue

If only we had more time together

If only I had met you sooner 

So I could have been with you longer, so I can hold you tighter 

Holding you for a minute, was like forever for me 

Seeing you smile brought joy to my world 

But now we don't have time 

Now I've lost you, maybe for this moment, maybe forever 

I should've held onto you tighter, holding you closer to my heart

I can no longer see your smile in this dark world of mine 

I've lost you to the person you promised you'd never become 

You've become the person I hate the most, I can't stand it 

Cause I was the one who pushed you, I pushed while you pulled 

You may hate me as well, as you were never supposed to down that path 

Fate is a cruel thing, but it isn't always right in ways, we don't yet understand 

I hope to find you once again, and put you back on the right path 

Cause if you go any further, I'll have no choice but to harm you, and I could never bring myself to do that 

Hurting you hurts me, but destiny has already been written

And there's no backing  out now that you've made yourself known to him 

But if it comes down to the final battle, strike me down, make a name for yourself 

Because I swore an oath to never harm you
