C1: Flames and Tactics

Jashin is a 17 year old jobless man. He has no memories of his past. All that he knows is that starting tomorrow, the countdown will begin. He doesn't have any idea what will happen. It's like an information etched on his soul. An information that is carved in his mind.

Jashin is currently walking down the streets. "Inner Serv sector 1, block 3, Hyulyang street..." He said while dozing and staring at the address written on a thin piece of paper. It'll be a long way. He lives in the Outer Serv subsector 2. It was very far from his address. "Ha... Why am I doing this again?" He said to himself while walking down the streets. The sun is very high up on his head. Jashin wipes his forehead. His sweat made his clothes wet. 

Jashin decided to stop by under a tree. "People of the Outer! It's your time to shine!" The man shouts while waving a glow stick. Jashin looks at the stall where the man is. "Do you want to win an extra cash?! Join the battlefield now and you'll be rewarded handsomely!" The man shouted. Jashin walks towards the stall.

The man saw him and said. "It seems like the final challenger has arrived!!!" He then pointed his glowstick on Jashin. Jashin was bewildered. He didn't even said that he will join. Jashin thinks for a bit before going to the man. He needs a cash right now so why not try?

"Sir, sit here please..." The girl escorted Jashin on a chair. Jashin looks around and saw other people sittings in front of the computers like him. The man nods and smiles before looking at the crowd. "Now that every slot is taken, I will now explain the mechanics!" The man signals the girl. A holographic screen suddenly appears.

"The game will be picked randomly. It can be a battle royale, role playing game, or any other genres! And then the other rules will depend on the game!" A wide smile forms in his face before waving the glow stick again. "Now... Let the roulette spin!!!" A huge roulette appears on the holographic screen with different games printed on it. It starts to spin fast before stopping immediately.

Jashin was surprised. He looked at the chosen game and a grin forms at his face. "It's the Magic Battle Royale!!!" The man announced. MBR or Magic Battle Royale is like the normal battle royales. The only catch is instead of guns, magic items are all scattered in the area. "All players! Boot it up!" The man said. All the players including Jashin boots up their pc. The game launched immediately and puts them in the game lobby.

"Everybody put your nicknames on the game. In this game, everyone will be put in a random location in the whole map. You all know the rules in every battle royale! Once again, this is MC Edward! Let the game.... Begin!"

The place where Jashin is sitting suddenly closed locking him in. Jashin was shocked and looked around in panic. "Don't worry players! Those are all made so that you can have your privacy and talk freely in the game. It is also enabled so that no players can hear or look at your game." The voice said. All the players got transported in a huge magic circle in the sky. They are all standing in the clouds. A mechanical voice speaks. "Preparation will end at 3... 2... 1..."

A bright white light encased every players. Jashin moves his character. He knows what's happening, It is the system teleporting them to a random location. 

Soon, the light wears off and Jashin got transported to a huge tower. "How lucky..." He said before dashing in. Jashin looks around trying to find an artefact. An artefact is an object in game. It possess different kinds of abilities that'll greatly help anyone at the battlefield. He continues to wanders around and checks every room. Jashin stumbled in an empty room. He's confused, all the rooms here has decorations or furnitures at least. But this one is different, it has nothing inside. Jashin moves his mouse and continues to click his keyboard. He didn't walk in. Instead, he gets the vase beside him and threw it inside the room.

As the vase enters the room and hits the ground. The room emits an intense mana and zaps the vase into ashes. Jashin felt it, the atmosphere on where he is plating suddenly changes. He looked around where the room he is playing. "This... Its pretty advanced." The room adjusts, makes sound or even shake depending on what is happening on the game.

Jashin looked at the room again. He noticed that there is a dent on the wall on the room. He picked another vase and threw it to the dent. After hitting the dent, the room suddenly crumbles and a magic circle appears and shatters signaling that the trap is now broken. Jashin smiles in satisfaction. A book suddenly appears in the middle of the room. He gasped. "A tome..." He whispers in awe. A tome is very rare in the game. It grants anyone a high powered ability. The ability differs on the tome.

Jashin walks towards it. The room where Jashin is playing changed again. He felt a mysterious force coming from the tome. Jashin clicks the mouse and gets the tome.
