Wheign's POV

Watching my future wife walk down the isle to soon marry me. She's so beautiful just like the day I met her. I could still remember the first time we met in a beach at La Vierro. She was wearing a white dress and black sandals at that moment, but now she's wearing a long white gown with sparkling gold-coloured flower designs around the edges of the gown, her hair messily tied up but still makes her pretty and doesn't look messy at all with a matching gold flower crown that suits her gown, and a pair of silver high heels that makes her stunningly gorgeous.

Finally I'm going to be the last person that she's going to spend the rest of her life. I'll be the husband of the lady I wanted to be my wife.

She's getting closer to me. Holding the arm of her father whom I asked for her hand to marry. Genuinely smiling at the guests.

All wedding guests, staffs, sponsors, and admirers are looking at her happily as she walks along the red carpet path with pink and white rose petals shredded by the flower girls on the floor and beautiful flower arrangements on the side of the path.

She's getting closer. I could see her teary eyes and smiling lips getting a bit happier.

I remember that smile. That smile was the smile she was wearing when I first saw her and the time I proposed to her. She's really beautiful even when she is far, I could still see her sparkling eyes. That's what I love about her, Her smile and her eyes. It speaks to me even her mouth doesn't. It gives me happiness more than anything else when I see her smiling happily.

She's only two meters away from me right now. I feel nervous yet really excited. I want to hug her right now because of the happiness I feel. Her father smiled at me as if he was saying that he's allowing me to take care of her daughter and love her as more than he did to his wife. But then...

"Bang!" a loud bullet sound echoed around the church.

I could hear people around me screaming and panicking. I don't know if I will run away or run towards her. All I could hear is screaming.

I saw my soon-to-be wife seemed shocked and didn't move, after a minute blood came out of her mouth. She collapsed to the floor. I couldn't move a step as I see her dad panicked and screamed for help. She was shot at the back. The shining white gown turned bloody red.

I ran to her, hugged her as tight as I could. I did not mind the loud noises around me, the screaming of the guests, the cries of her mom, and the shouting of her dad. I didn't hesitate to carry her. I carried her on my arm not minding the people around me. Carrying her, I ran out of the church and a guest opened the car door near me. I laid her down on the back seat. The guest gave me the car key and I directly went to the driver's seat and drove the car rushing her to the hospital. I could still hear her breathing and suffering.

A minute in the car felt an hour.

"Eya, no. You can't die. You have a wedding to continue. Our wedding, baby." I nervously panicked looking at her messed face in the mirror.

I'm trying to calm myself down by encouraging my self not to be fearful of the situation. Calls and text messages notifications are continually ringing my phone on my right pocket. It makes me more nervous but I'm trying to make myself serene. I'm panicking at the moment but cautiously driving. I don't know what to do next.

Finally, I could see the Alizan Medical Hospital that I own and where I'm working as a doctor.

As soon as we got there, I rushed her to the Emergency Room. I asked the nurse-in-charge to get my surgery apparatuses but the nurse declined saying "Doc naka on leave po kayo, di po kayo pwedeng mag entertain ng patient."
