Chapter One
-Taylor's POV-
I was in my room, singing along to Little Things by One Direction. It's my favorite song and 1D is also my favorite band. When the song ended, I already had the blade pressed against my wrist, then added a bit of pressure. When the skin broke and I started bleeding, I smiled. I'm not some freak who enjoys pain, but cutting myself makes me happier. This happens every single day, so I'm surprised no one has found out; not even my best friend Alexis.
Just like every girl in Houston, I am in love with One Direction, Liam and Zayn mainly. But I know that since they're international popstars, and I'm a nobody, niether of them would ever date someone like me.
so i guess i should tell you about myself. my name is Taylor Sanders, I'm 19, and I live with my aunt and uncle because my parents died on my 13th birthday. I'm obsessed with One Direction. I cut, I am somewhat depressed, and I'm a drug addict. Don't judge, I've had a rough life, and I don't expect it'll get better any time soon.
"Taylor! Alexis is here! She wants to go skating with you." Aunt Nicole hollered upstairs to me. Alexis and I have been friends since our freshmen year of high school.
I wiped the blood from my wrist and put on my One Direction hoodie since its like 50 degrees outside. As I grabbed my iPhone 5 off my bed, it chirped with a new Twitter notification. i thought to myself 'hmm.. no one ever bothers me on here.' I unlocked my phone and went to the Twitter app to check my mentions, and there I found a tweet from ZAYN MALIK of One Direction. It read:
"@zaynmalik: i love you @taylorsanders1D. we never have met in person, but that will soon change! ill see you in Houston tomorrow darling! xx"
I started screaming and crying. "ALEXIS! THE Zayn Malik just tweeted me and told me he loves me!! I AM LEGIT CRYING!!" i ran down the stairs, into the living room, and into her arms to hug her. instead of skating like we had planned, we stayed in my room eating junk food and fangirling over One Direction.
i took a screenshot of the mentoin from Zayn and tweeted it, captioned: "THE @zaynmalik TWEETED ME! Fangirling SO HARD right now! #Crying" Almost immediately Zayn retweeted it, and Alexis and I started freaking out again. After we had dinner made by Aunt Nicole, Alexis went home, and I snuggled into the covers on my bed and drifted off to sleeping thinking about what would happen with Zayn tomorrow.
