Clara lightly pushed open the lime door entering Jewel's Cafe, the smell of sweet pasteries welcomed her inside where she took her regular seat in the back corner of the small shop.
It was an easy Wednesday afternoon where she walked to the cute corner shop after school to get away from her studies and her parents, her heart already ached from this mornings argument.
Clara smiled lightly as she recognised the familiar muted aqua walls that hung cute pictures of past award winning sweets from Jewel, the owner of the cafe. Ever since primary school Clara was welcomed with warm arms when she first came to the store in a rush, and Jewel helped her calm down and showed her for the first time true generosity offering her food and drinks on the house. Thinking back to that stressful day made Clara chuckled lightly seeing how far she has still come bringing along the same burden of argumemts and clashes with her mum.
But Clara didnt come here all just to escape reality, she came here for a girl.

There she was standing behind the counter smiling cheerfully as ever to customers. Clara could hear her light voice and it sent goosebumps down her arms. If only Clara could hold a conversation longer than 3 minutes to fully admire her smooth voice. If only she could whisper into my ears softly when I- Clara no! Stop it, she doesnt even know your name-
Her long brunette hair had been held back into a long pony tail and she was wearning a touch of warm eyeshadow accentuating her dusted freckles on her cheeks. Even her purple apron had her own decorations with her disney pins. Her white name tag printed 'Bonnie :)' in her thin writing. She was too cute.

Agh, I cant keep staring at her, she's gonna think I'm weird.
Clara snapped her head away from staring at the tall girl to stop her blush from growing into a brighter shade of red. She was already flustured-
Clara adjusted herself on the booth seat already feeling too uncomfortable within her presence. She felt like ghost in the shadows viewing the living from a whole other set of eyes, without going noticed of course. Just like her mother had described.
Instead to distract herself from Bonnie, she grabbed one of the menus and started reading, even though she knew she was eventually going to get her usual apple and cinnamon muffin.

"Are you ready to order?" Looking up from the menu, Clara's eyes widened a little, and her heart stopped. Bonnie smiled patiently with her note pad ready to scribble out her order. Clara was currently lost at words and her head went blank. Clara had never seen Bonnie this close up before, she got to observe Bonnies facial details even more in awe. She had the smallest wing eyeliner and long smooth hands, with a thin ring on her thumb. Clara gulped, but she couldnt force words out.
Bonnie did her little chuckle and sweetly whilsted,
"Ill get your regular honey, dont sweat." Bonnie simply winked and politely walked away.

S-she winked at me..

Clara sat there lifeless, re-examining 2hat just happened. The only time Clara had a chance to see Bonnie like that was spotting her around the halls in school and of course her in her little cafe apron when working.
She talked to me-
Clara touched her face with her cold palm, feeling her reddening blush. The touch of anime blush Clara added before heading out to the cafe for sure would be unrecognizable due from her natural beat face from the interaction.

"Here you go Clara," Bonnie came back with Clara's muffin on a small plate decorated with a rim of flowers. She placed it on the table in front of Clara also providing her a white napkin and a knife and fork, just in case.
"You know my name-?" Clara looked up suprised to Bonnie, getting a better view of her ocean blue eyes. Bonnie smiled a little.
"Of course, don't you attend Rosewest High?,"
"Uhh, yes. Yeah I do," Clara looked down a little feeling her heart jump again in her chest. I shouldn't be feeling this way.
"Cool, maybe I'll see you more around school. Ya'know I've seen some of your art around the school, you're pretty good,"
If Clara's heart was jumping before, it was flipping by now.
"R-really? Me-?" Clara smiled a little, even showing off her small vampire bite.
"I didn't know that Miss really showed off most of my works, most of them I actually do at home and they take up more space then you would think and as of-" Clara paused, tucking back a thin pink strand of hair.
"S-sorry I was rambling," Bonnie was standing over Clara with her arms crossed intrigued, she was even slightly impressed to how much this shy girl had to spill.
"No no, it's all good. It's nice talking to you. I have to go back to the counter, maybe I'll... see you around?" Bonnie streached her arms out on the table gracefully smirking down at Clara.
"See ya pinkie." Bonnie then left with a last wink, finally killing Clara to the last straw. Her whole body heated up, and her chest tightend.

My body can't be doing this right now...
