A few days ago I was asked by wattpad and honor to write about my quarantine experience and how I imagine life is going to be after wards. I loved the idea so much. They also sent me a brand new HONOR 10x Lite. I wrote my story on it and it was great. It has a wonderful big screen, with an ebook mode that is just perfect for long readings especially that I am a disaster night owl and love to read at night. It also lasts long which is helpful when you want to write whenever I feel like it.

"It's like we were living in a cave" said the old man beside me while the bus was on the way to college.

I picked this seat according to covid-19 rules of distancing, but this man came and sat right next to me with no sense of reponsibility and was instead complaining about all the 'stupid and unconcious' actions the government has been doing to 'take our freedom' by spreading false informations about this nonexistent virus.

Covid-19 -or Crona as my people love to call it for no specific reason- is the Plague of our era. But looking at my country and how everyone is handling the situation, this is no more than another bad flu.

Living in a country where every single person has lived their own bloody story in the past few years makes it obvious why no one was afraid from a creature you can't even see.

After many discussions with the old man, the bus finally arrived to its destination.

At university, things were a little different. Some students were totally commited to the rules, to others it seemed like there was no a pendamic at all! And of course, like everywhere, there were some students in between.

Trying to reach my laboratory -which was at the very far end- I started thinking about the new 'shape' of the world where we're using technology better and more efficiently than ever before.

Sometimes, I work as a medical representative*. I used to travel a lot in order to meet the manager and deal with our costumers.
Now, I don't need to go to the capital every few of months and I can convince my clients to write prescriptions using our medicine without travelling to their places.

Work is much better, university is much better (despite the rough first three months) and we spend less money now than we used to, before COVID.

We lost a lot, we suffered watching our beloved ones being draged to hospitals then to their death!
We need time to recover, time to reshape things and time to realize that life isn't easy at all.

Especially here in Iraq where we don't have enough roads or an environments to work in, we can take the best of this to transform everything we can to become digital.

I see how people are afraid, they don't like seeing changes... they hate seeing changes. But we can't move on while holding on to such emotions during times like these.

We need to change, we need to chatch up with the world and enter the competition and we must do so now.

In reality we don't really have a choice, it's a road that we have to take. But it's up to us to either get through it quickly, with the least damage possible, or get out of this pandemic in the hard, worst way...
