He lands with a soft thud, panting as he slowly moves to turn off the music. His attention is grabbed by the familiar small receding footsteps followed by the creak of the door. He doesn't move his head towards the sound, knowing she would feel flustered. But his mind contemplates it
He wants to follow her.
But it's night, it would scare the girl, and the last thing he wanted was to be the cause of her distress. He stands there and contemplates it, completely forgetting the refreshing bottle of water.
...
He leaves most of his belongings behind in the darkened old theatre as he frantically looks through the streets. The clouds start to release small bits of their weight, but he finally sees her, dressed in her yellow outfit. Trailing from far behind he watches her reach the apartment complex. Pulling his hoodie on and raising his mask he dashed into the building, as the rain starts to slowly increase.
Jimin reaches the girl just as she reaches the elevator. Y/n holds the door for him, and asks which level he's on, glancing at the button she's already pressed, he responds with the top floor.
She gets out onto floor 7 and he watches as she goes to her room, which he sees is down the hall. Quickly returning back to the first floor he sprints outside and towards the fire escape. With the cover of night on his side, Jimin quietly makes his way up the steps and peeks through the curtain gaps. She makes her way into the bathroom and he makes his move. Opening the window only a crack he hears the shower running, with a sigh of relief the window goes all the way up and Jimin's body is hoisted up and into the room.
Looking around he's intrigued by the photos on the wall. Some are of people, while others are nature scenery, but they all sat stuck on the wall above her bed which only consists of her mattress and fluffy blanket. He spots a full length mirror next to the window and on the other side, a large desk with a side basket holding skateboard, Y/n's closet is next to the bathroom, which has stopped making noise. Hearing the door handle turn he quickly hides at the foot of the bed, not the best place considering there a mirror but it's better than nothing. He hears the girl dash into her closet, completely disregarding the open window on the dark night.
Jimin's hood falls as leaps out and towards the window, noticing the sprinkles of rain falling down. His top half is out of the window—
"Who are you?" Y/n's voice rings out like a bell
Knowing he's caught, the boy pulls his mask off, comes back inside, and decides to have a bit of fun.
"Oh you know, simply someone who likes their privacy," he slowly strides towards Y/n
"Then why steal someone else's?" The girl asks confused as he now looms over her.
He places one arm on the wall, left of her head and solemnly utters, "It doesn't count if you were spying first,"
She finally realizes the hair, the small beads of sweat, and puts it all together. Her eyes go wide with both realization and somewhat fear.
He leans down to her right ear and whispers, "tell me. Are you afraid?"Her breathing is heavy But as her hand meets the small Polaroid camera on the shelf her mind is hit with an idea. She forces a smirk on her face, and Y/n brings the Polaroid to her eye, also aiming it at Jimin's face. The flash, being synchronized with the bark of thunder pushes the boy aback.
"No actually," she waves the picture as the colors start to show, "you're my muse,"
She smiles and holds up the Polaroid of the boy who just witnessed his own tables turn. With a smile he hops back out the window.
"This is far from over," Jimin says in his husky voice and pulls his hood over his head.
Pulling the window down she releases the smirk from her face and looks down at the polaroid, looking forward to it,"
