Chapter 9.80 - Back to the Pizzeria (Part 2)

George's POV
12am

"To the office," George said in a panic. Techno gave him a mystified look.

"Why?" Techno asked, confused.

"BECAUSE the animatronics can't break into the office!" George shouted. Without any further explanation, he bolted toward the office.

George skidded to a halt once he was inside the office. He couldn't believe he was back here. Techno followed up close behind him, clearly confused.

"Aren't the animatronics nice?" Techno pointed out.

"..Maybe?" George shrugged, attempting to switch on the monitors.

Just to his luck, they didn't work. They must have shut down a majority of the power when management abandoned this place.

"Do we call somebody or..?" Techno tried, sounding confused on what to do.

"Souls are chasing us down I don't think we can call anybody," George pointed out.

"Call the Ghostbusters," Techno suggested, leaning back against the wall. George laughed a bit, but quickly fell serious again.

"Let's call Sapnap!" George realized, perking up. "He knows the most about this place!"

"What about Dream? Didn't he work here too?" Techno pointed out.

"Dream's dead, Techno," George reminded him grimly, frantically scrolling through his contacts.

"Oh, I forgot," Techno murmured.

"How do you forget somebody died?" George demanded, calling Sapnap.

Techno shrugged in response as Sapnap picked up. George peaked out of one of the doors, and saw movement at the end of the hall.

"..George?" Sapnap murmured sleepily. "Its like.. midnight.. why are you calling me?"

"I'm at the old pizzeria," George answered nervously. "Techno's here too."

"WHAT?" Sapnap shouted, the news clearly jolting him wide awake. "Why are you back there?! Who's Techno?"

"Me," Techno spoke up, still leaning against the wall, doing nothing to help them.

"Technoblade, y'know," George frowned. "Orphan slaying pig man."

"..oh," Sapnap murmured. "You're friends with Technoblade?"

"That doesn't matter right now!" George snapped, his fear getting the better of his attitude. "Sapnap, we're trapped in the pizzeria! You got to break us out!"

1am

"What am I supposed to do?" Sapnap yelped, followed by some rustling on his end.

"Get Tommy and help us! There's something in here with us!" George said frantically. "Call the police or something!"

"Call the Ghostbusters," Techno broke in, earning a hard stare from George.

"Techno the Ghostbusters aren't real," George reminded him.

"You've just got to believe," Techno whispered, his voice somehow still monotone. George sighed, knowing he wasn't gonna convince the man.

"I'm on my way," Sapnap said, instantly hanging up. George glared at his phone for a second, upset his friend had ended the call, but he was to busy to be mad right now.

George shoved his phone back into his pocket, and pressed the door light. Nothing was there, thankfully, so he backed away to check the other door. Empty as well.
