It had been six hours of going through and researching everything they could find about Canbbell. They figured out he was recently divorced and had two kids, Addie and Bailey. Cathy was the mother. They all had brown eyes and were shorter. But, one thing was strange, they couldn't find anything on them. No trace of social media, no trace of any purchases. Nothing. It was all gone. Their last traces were about 6 months ago, on May 18th. Which was weird, since it looked like they were on almost everyday.

"Guys, did you find anything about his family?"

"No, I haven't. Why?"
Ant asked, looking up from his computer.

"I was looking for any clues that might have explained why he was going feral, and when I looked for his family, I found nothing. No one has been active since May 18th, at around 7:30 pm."
I explained, turning my monitor around to show them.

"Six months? Jesus, have they been sick at all? Can you see if there are any medical records?."
Sapnap sat down next to me, putting his arm over my chair to lean in closer to the screen.

I typed away, searching for anything about them. After about ten minutes I looked through Cathy and Addie's medical records and found nothing, I became a little hopeless. Not a single thing showed up for them, at least nothing in the last six months.

"Maybe they just have strong immune systems? Not everyone has to go to the doctor every other month like you do, Sapnap."
Ant murmured, turning back to face his monitor.

"Woah hold on, Sapnap look."
Bailey's medical records showed that she had been seeing a doctor regularly for the past year. The longest time between those checkups being 3 months. Looking further into this, we found out that she had asthma.

"Do you really need to check up monthly for asthma? I thought that was like, an annual thing."
Sapnap breathed over my shoulder.

"No clue, she must've had it severe or something."

After about another hour or two, we all decided to take a break and get lunch.

"Do you guys wanna get Taco Bell or go to Stanley's?" Ant questioned us.
Stanley's was a little cafe in the building that sold anything from a wrap to a muffin. The food was always fresh and gave you energy.

"Stanley's-"

"Taco Bell-"

I looked over to Sapnap, confused.

"Why would you want Taco Bell? Their food is greasy and old."

Sapnap scoffed, "First of all, Taco Bell is bomb, second of all, Stanley's is inside our building and I want to go outside."

"True, but why don't we go somewhere else?"

"Why?"

"Taco Bell sucks-"

"No, it doesn't!"

"Yes, it does!"

"No-"

"Yes-"

"No"

"Yes!"

"NO!"

"Oh my god, fine!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air, giving up.

"YES!"

We walked out side, and went over to Sapnaps car. Taking the front seat, I put the seatbelt on, and sighed. I can't believe we are going to Taco Bell.

When we got to Taco Bell, I made a face and Sapnap chuckled. After making sure to elbow him in the ribs, I got out of the car and walked in, leaving the two behind.

Shortly after, The two walked in. We all ordered and sat down near the corner by the bathrooms. There was what looked like a couple, that sat at the opposite side if the restaurant. A group of three, two tables in front of us, and behind us was... Someone staring at us, looking pissed. I quickly looked away, confused and embarrassed. They were a lean man, with a baseball hat on and a thick black jacket on. They had brown hair, and a really, really weird beard. It was shaven in the middle but had hair on the sides of his face.

"Dude, did you even listen to a word I said?" Sapnap nudged me, looking annoyed.

"If im being honest, I didn't hear a single word you said."
Sapnap let a out a groan, and I laughed.

"I said, we should ask Techno what we have to do to start the actual job."

My mouth form an O-shape as I understood. Techno or Dave is our boss at the headquarters.

We talked about many things on our break, joking and teasing each other. But, halfway through one of our pointless conversations, the tall man got a call and went into the bathroom. I didn't think much of it until he came back with a box and one other person. We made eye contact again and he glared at me. His eyes digging daggers into my soul. He made his way toward the front door and walked out. With one last look, he was gone.

"Did you guys see him?" I whispered. Sapnap and Ant nodded, looking skeptic.

"That was pretty shady if you ask me."
Ant said, looking out the window. We all agreed. I took a curious glance in the direction of the other guy only to see him sit down behind us. I could feel his gaze on the back of my head. It made me super uncomfortable and nervous.

I gave a pleading look in Sapnaps direction, and asked if we could go. He looked around and nodded, spotting the guy. We got up threw our trash away, and walked to the parking lot. Once we were in the safety of Sapnaps car, I said, "What the fuck just happened?"

"I don't even know, but that was shady as shit." Sapnap exclaimed, looking a little nervous.

"Guys look!" Ant pointed towards the door of the restaurant. I followed where he was pointing and saw the man walk out. He slowly scanned the area around him. Once he saw us, he walked quickly around the corner of the building, disappearing.

"I think it's time we head back, don't ya think?" Sapnap said, starting the car and pulling out of the parking lot.

The ride back was quiet, all of us wondering what happened. Who were those people anyways? What were they doing with a box? But most importantly, why did that guy look so familiar? I swear I've seen him somewhere, but where? I didn't even realize we were back at our work until Sapnap opened the door.

We walked back in but only made it a couple steps before Techno came running up to us.

"There you guys are! I need you to follow me, we are starting your training today."
