This December [ Melizabeth ]

Meliodas sighed, the cool breeze combing through his messy hair and cooling him off. He inhales through his nose, the icy air entering his lungs and soon escaping through a rather hasty exhale.

Meliodas' face was far from what one would call 'happy'. You see, theres this girl he likes that hes been meaning to confess to since December.

Of last year.

Meliodas hand gripped tightly around a leather leash, to which was wrapped tightly around his hand. Now once again, it was December and hes told himself hes going to tell this girl how he feels.

He was walking his dog Cerberus. Meliodas seemed rather upset about something. On the other hand Cerberus was having the time of his life with this snow.

Cerberus was a large black dog, the top of Cerberus' back came to Meliodas's hips. If it werent for Meliodas' strength Cerberus would have been long gone. (Cerberus had a habit of smacking Meliodas in the face with his tail.)

Meliodas sat puzzled as to why his brother Zeldris demanded on having such a large dog in the first place. Meliodas snickered. Maybe he was lonley.

Meliodas dropped the subject as Cerberus kicked up the grass and began to jog back to the house.

Ah, about that girl he likes! She happens to go to the same school as him.

She also happens to be going on the exact same school vacation Meliodas is, aswell.

She so happens to be his seatmate on the bus, along with his best friend Ban.

Now that is what has him torn up. Not that he's sharing seats with the love of his life— the fact that Ban will probably put him in awkward situations. Thats what he was torn up about.

Meliodas was so lost in thought he didnt know he had walked right into his gate until he could no longer progress forward.

Meliodas took a breath and stepped back, opening the gate and letting Cerberus inside. Stepping inside and locking the gate behind him, Meliodas unbuckled Cerberus's collar and let him inside.

Meliodas sighed and looked at his bags on the porch and grabbed them. Better head to school, huh? He glanced at his phone.

6:13 AM. Gives him plenty of time to stop by the gas station and grab a few snacks before his class leaves for the trip at 8:00 AM.

Meliodas smirked to himself. He loves waking up early.

That was a lie.

"-Elizabeth! Elizabeth!" A voice shook the drowsy girl awake. Elizabeth let out a moan and rolled onto her side, hugging her pillow.

Her sister Veronica groaned and snatched Elizabeths pillow and proceeded to beat her with it.

Elizabeths distraught moans turned into whines and screams. "Wake up! Its 7:45 your class leaves in 15 minutes Elizabeth!" Elizabeths eyes shot open as her frame tore itself from the bed.

She was late already!

They were going to the mountians! They were renting cabins in the snow! Elizabeth couldn't miss this!

Elizabeth threw herself out of the bed and darted for her closet and tore out a douffle bag before filling it hastily with her favorite clothing items and neccesities. For example; her toothbrush, deoderant, comfort stuffed animal, and her pillow. (She, like Meliodas could not sleep without their own pillows.)

Elizabeth glanced at the time and threw on a skirt and a cute sweater. She then proceeded to throw on a hoodie over this sweater and slide on some boots.

Elizabeth grabbed her headphones, charger, and phone from the counter and stuffed her charger and headphones into her bag before darting out the door.

On her desperate way to school she glanced at her phone.

Elizabeth whined and threw her head back before diving for school at full speed ahead.

Elizabeth rounded the corner as she saw her friends loading the bus. She screamed and bolted to the bus frantically waving her hands.

Mr. Chino paused and stopped the bus driver. "Theres Elizabeth. I was wondering where she was." Chino Yuli shook his head and grinned when the bus doors opened and Elizabeth came inside.

"Ah, Elizabeth. Nice of you to join us— You're sitting in the back, next to Meliodas! Meliodas raise your hand." Yuli rose his voice.

Meliodas was snapped out of his daydream as his hand shot up. Why was he raising his hand again? He didn't know.

Meliodas sat there puzzled until Elizabeth began to walk towards his seat and sat down. Oh, he almost forgot shes sitting next to him.

Elizabeth neared the seat as she studied her seatmate. You see, Elizabeth has a secret herself. She also has a crush on this blonde haired boy. She thought the freckles littering his cheeks and nose were the cutest thing.

She liked how he dressed, examining the light brown baggy pants and white vans. The what seems to be black t-shirt under his dark red hoodie.

Elizabeth was guessing Dark Red was Meliodas's favorite color— hes always wearing it when he isnt wearing that same lime green shaded hoodie.

Meliodas watched closely as Elizabeth walked to the back and sat down her bags, apologizing to everyone in a sweet tone as she took her seat next to Meliodas.

Elizabeth glanced over at Meliodas in the window seat and smiled, waving her hand.

Meliodas stared right through her. He waved, but he didnt smile. Instead,

he wore a poker face.
