Rae POV

My name is Rae Jeager, I am six years old, have long brown hair that goes passed my waist but my mom always puts it in a braid so it doesn't get in my eyes or get tangled, my eyes are a different shade from Erens eye color and my hair a little lighter than his too. And did I mention that I can bend elements, well now you do, I can bend metal ,vines, ice, darkness, water, fire, air, earth,lighting, and fear

"Rae, are you alright? " I heard someone say and when I looked up it was my adopted sister Mikasa, her long black wavy hair and gray eyes looking at me.

" yeah, I'm fine just thinking about something " I said as I got off the ground and dusted my dress off." What about Eren, is he okay?"

"Hes fine, just sleeping" she said and handed me my little stack of firewood for the upcoming winter, I put the strap around the sticks so they wouldn't fall out and put the carrier on my back

"Do you want me to wake him up?" I asked Mikasa I as walked closer to my older siblings

"No, that won't be necessary Rae. "

"How come? "

"Because, he about to wake up anyway, just look at his eyes it's like he's having a nightmare " she said and was right because even though his eyes were closed you can still see his eyes move around looking for something.

Than he opened his blue-green eyes with a gasp and looked at me and Mikasa "Mi-Mikasa a-and Rae." He said "Where am I? "

Mikasa scoffed "Still think your having a dream? " she asked as her held my hand in hers.

"N-no.....It feels like I had this really long dream or something" he said and rubbed his forehead "what was it about? "

Mikasa picked up her stack of fire wood while still holding my hand, I turn back and look at Eren to see fresh tears on his face

"Eren.....have you been crying ?" I asked him shock because I have barely seen him cry before when I was growing up but his response was confused

"Huh?" He put a hand up to his face to see what I was talking about.

We were walking back home, so we could give mom the firewood. It was peaceful and quite until

Eren said " You two better not tell anyone else that I was crying. " he said as he was holding my right hand and Mikasa holding my left hand, which always bothered me on how they treat me like a baby.

"We won't " she said "But still, crying for no reason.......maybe you should have you dad do a check up on you "

"Don't be stupid! I can't tell him" he said in a whisper-yell

"What are you crying about Eren?" A new voice said which made us look to see who it was

"Mr. Hannes " I said to the garrison member, since they walls have to keep watch over the titans so they want get in

"Did Mikasa and Rae both get on you case?" He asked

"Huh?! What makes you think I was crying ?!" Eren yelled at him then stopped and smelled something that reeked "ugh, you smell like alcohol." He said hand covered my and his nose with both of his hands.

We heard the other garrison members talking at a small table and playing a game of some sort "it's like, come on, you know? " one of them said

"Oh......your drinking again....." I said

"You guys want to join us?" He asked us, I just gave him a glare that said ' are you seriously asking two ten year olds and a six year old to drink alcohol, your an idiot'

"Um.......aren't you on duty?" I asked

"Yep little lady, were guarding the gate today, which means were stuck here all day and we ended up getting hungry and thirsty, and so what if a little booze got in out drinks it's no big deal."he said

Eren and I both growled "What if something happens! Can you even fight like that!" We said at the same time

"--Whaddya mean 'if something where to happen?'" He said cluess 'what an idiot '

"You know exactly what we mean, when those titans break through the walls and destroyed everything in here! " Eren yelled

Hannes groaned and held his head in his hands " Ow, geez, Eren. Don't go off yelling like that" he said as another member of the garrison legion came up to the four of us

He laughs first the speaks " You two got spunk, doctors son and daugther! If they do bust down the walls, we'll take care of business dont worry. but that ain't happen in the last hundred years"

"Still, our dad saids there nothing more dangerous than being more complacent like that!" Eren said, his blue-green eyes glimmering with anger and annoyance even I had the same look in my eyes

"Dr. Jeager, huh? Yeah, he's got a point " Hannes said and look around at all the people in the city "He did save this town once from an epidemic, I can't argue with him . Still another story altogther when your a soldier, you gotta see those things roaming around outside while you're on wall reinforcement duty and staff . These walls are fifty meter tall, though, I can't see 'em getting through.

"Then..you're not actually prepared to fight them at all?" Eren asked

" Nope!"

I couldn't belive that Hannes and the other members of the Garrison Regiment didn't even think of the titans as big, giant, man-eating creatures. But they didn't even care anyway thats why I want to join the Scout Regiment anyway to go out and explore the world outside these stupid walls.

Eren's POV

Me, Mikasa, and Rae were all walking back to our house with all of our firewood in our carriers. We were walking up a hill that had a cliff side to it and an good veiw of they town too " Eren, Rae, I'd forget about the Scout Regiment if I were you two." I heard Mikasa say to us

" What!? You think the Scout Reigment is a joke too?!" I yelled, I looked back and saw Rae looking clam and.....worried, which I thought was weird because she nevers get worried since she always happy, and cheerful

" It's not about what I think." she replied and must of seen that Rae was quite and had a dull look in her eyes,one minute and she was talking back to a garrison soldier and then all quite the next, I was about to ask if she was okay but the town bell started ringing and I couldn't help but smile

"The Scout Regiment is back! They're gonna open the front gate! Let's go see the heroes return, Mikasa and Rae! I said as I grab both of there hands and hope that it would make Rae happy again.

I thought that it was just gonna be a normal day inside the walls. But I guess I was wrong because what happened next was the most horrible thing that had ever happened.
