Two weeks already as Lisa becomes a new student in university. There is nothing special at all. She can follow the rules and everything. Thanks to Jack who always there for her and help her with everything silently.
Even though everything seems fine. But Lisa is facing the same problem over and over again like in the past.
She has no friends. Unlike her classmates that already say hi and do hang out together. She doesn't know what is wrong. But there is a moment when they did a party together and just her who was not attending. No one tells her.
That made her think that she just doesn't have bonding with others. And she is so disappointed.
There was a time that she tried to greet one of her classmates, a blonde gorgeous girl who sits beside her. The first time they have a convo it's nice. No awkward moment because the girl pretty talk active and Lisa tried to do like her. But after someday, she changed. She didn't reply when Lisa gave a morning greeting or when she smiled at her.
After that, she believed no one likes her and she doesn't know what is the reason. Is she too ugly? Is she stinks? Is she dumb?
No. Of course not. She is normal. Jack always says she is pretty and he loves her smell. And even she isn't a genius as Jack. But, well she always tries her best. Is it not enough?
After that accident, Lisa decided not to interact with people again. Except for team projects of the school.
Sometimes, she is jealous of Jack. Jack is lovable. People adore him. He is a genius, kind, and handsome.
Lisa gives a long sigh when she saw Jack walking with a beautiful professor beside her in the library. The woman is the same age as Jack or maybe a little bit older than Jack. But she still looks pretty.
She heard that people talk about how they look good together. And she hates the fact that she agrees with it.
Lisa back to focus on her journal when she accidentally meets Jack's eyes.
No one knows that they are living together. Even Jack already teaches in her class too. But, they act pretty well as strangers. As if they never meet, as if they don't have a connection between their bodies and soul.
"Elizabeth-..." Someone call her name. And surprisingly it's Jack.
Lisa looks at him confused.
"Can we sit here, the tables are full?" He asked.
Uh. She doesn't know how to react. Well, this is the first time Jack talk to her in school.
And they agree to not talk to each other in school. Jack said he wanted to avoid rumors or unnecessary gossip.
She feels everyone look at her. Oh! dumb! She forgot to reply. "Of .. Of course .. Ja.. Professor Jeon."
And then Jack and Miss Eleanor sit in front of her.
Lisa puts her earphone. She doesn't want to focus on the 2 objects in front of her. They seem to talk seriously. And for the sake of her heart. She better pretend that Jack isn't here.
