<Everly's Point Of View>

"Your immigrant says that you wish not to speak to me, is that true?" Terrance's voice boomed through the receiver. Vincenio was busy kissing my earlobes and rubbing my baby bump while I munched on pickles. I wanted to moan so bad but knew that, that would only make things worse.

"When you say things like that Terrance, it doesn't make me even want to be your friend. You sound nothing but a jealous racist to me....." I trailed as I bumped Vincenio back with my butt. He groaned a little and released his hold on me. I placed the receiver on my chest and glanced at him. "We are supposed to be meeting my parents today. Stop fooling around and get dressed okay?" I gave him a quick kiss on the lips and pushed him into the proper direction.

"....you will love me! I have done nothing but treat you right and show you the love that you deserve! Why are you with him huh?" He nearly shouted into the phone. I snapped.

"You will calm your black ass down do you understand me?! I have listened to you offend my husband, again and again and that shit will stop do you understand me? As for you loving me and giving me everything that I deserve? That's a huge load of horse shit. Did you not forget that Angela was and is your world? Let's not spit lies shall we? As a matter of fact, my husband was right. I refuse to uphold contact with you. You will leave my family and I be. Goodbye." I huffed before I clicked the end button and slammed my phone on the counter. I'm sure my faced was red from the amount of anger I was withholding in my body.

I had to calm down because I knew that this would be bad for the babies. Stress is not good for me or them and I'd love for them to be as healthy as can be.

"You okay?" Vincenio asked tenderly as he hugged me.

"No," I said as I sighed deeply. Terrance was becoming a bigger nuisance than he was my friend. I never thought our friendship would end so abruptly and on bad terms, but his offensive language would stop. He would stop hurting the ones that I love. I am going to be a mother soon, and honestly speaking, I don't think he's in the right state of mind to even think about being around my children.

"Let's get dressed baby okay?" I suggested as I pecked his lips and waddled toward the staircase. Looking back, I could see a faint smile glazing Vincenio's face. He always laughed because of the way I walked. I couldn't help my growing babies from preventing me from walking correctly!

"Stop laughing at me and get your arse up these stairs and get dressed. Chop chop!" I clapped my hands for emphasis and let out a small giggle as I saw him add some pep in his step.

"No, no, no!" I roared as I threw my phone into the wall. This wasn't supposed to happen! Sure I never really picked up on Everly's feelings before, but now I'm ready to settle down. She was the perfect person to do that with. I knew what she wanted in a man, and what she wanted for her family, and I'm almost positive that that man wasn't what she needed.

Seeing her with him, and even pregnant for that matter, ignited feelings within me that I never knew that I could feel. I suddenly wanted Everly to be carrying my children, and for her to be marrying me. I have to do something. I refuse to stand by as she gives her life away to that cretin.

I had to somehow split them apart. To bring her into my good graces. For that to happen, I would have to dig up some dirt about him. Something that would have her running back into my arms. I love her too much to let her go.

<Everly's Point of View>

We arrived at my parents house, unannounced and ready to rock. I needed to speed this up because all I truly wanted was to lay my ass back down in my bed. I've been extremely fatigued and sore lately. This pregnancy was getting the best of me.

I've been holding things off at the company, mostly letting my P.A handle everything which would go on for no longer. Which is something that Vincenio and I discussed not too long ago.

Vincenio stopped the car, nervousness etched on his face. I took my small hand and glided it across his face. His hands caught mine and kissed them lightly as I began to talk.

"Don't be so nervous love! They won't bite. Sure they can be....different, but they'll love you and you'll love them," I began as I took off my seatbelt. "Now, baby please let me out of this car. I feel like a fish in a sardine can," I giggled a bit.

With that being said, Vincenio moved rather quickly to open my door and help me out. I huffed a bit, and grabbed his hand as we walked up the pathway to my parent's home.

Nervousness ran through me as I rang the door bell. "Coming!" My mothers voice rang loudly.

When she opened the door, her breath was caught in her throat as she looked at a smiling Vincenio. "Why hello there handsome! Everly you did an excellent job! When you said Italian, you never mentioned that he was incredibly hot too!" She gushed as her eyes never left Vincenio as she held out her hand.

"I am Mrs. Finley, Everly's lovely mother, and you are?" He placed a gentle kiss on my mother's hand, causing her to giggle.

"Vincenzo Sandrigo. Very nice meet you." His accent was thick as usually making his sentences a bit choppy. My mother understood anyway. She squealed, and smiled brightly.

"You never told me that he had an adorable accent too! I need me one of them!" Right on que, my father came to the door, a scowl upon his face.

"No you don't," he grumbled as he pulled on her arm, and welcomed my husband and I in the home.

"Nice to meet you son," he bellowed as he firmly shook Vincenios hand.
