*** SUNDAY AFTERNOON. ***

L) So what is it like always being in the road?

J) Hard, you never see family but I love what I do. I do it for them.

L) You are such a nice man, I wish my mommy would find a guy like you.

N) Lacey, you know all I need is you.

L) You won't always have me, like when I go to school and start my life.

N) Lets worry about that when it happens. Hey why don't you get some rest. Brie can you sit with her I just want to go get something to eat.

B) Sure, take your time.

N) I love you. (She kissed Lacey on the head as she closed her eyes.)

J) Hey is ok if I come with you?

N) Of course I wouldn't mind.

No ones POV: They leave the room and walk to the cafe. John found an empty table while Nikki waited on line to get their food. Once their food was done they sat down. For a while there was awkward silence. Until John finally broke it.

J) Your daughter is beautiful and very sweet.

N) Thank you.
J) So how have you been holding up?

N) Trying my hardest to be strong for her. I just don't know what I would do if I lost her.

J) I understand, if you ever need someone to talk to you can call me.

N) Thank you, that means a lot to me.

J) No problem.

N) John, I need to tell you something.

J) What is it?

N) The other day you said I looked familiar. What did you mean by that?

J) Well for some reason I feel like we have seen each other before.

N) We have. This isn't the first time we met. 12 years ago to be exact.

J) I'm not understanding what your saying.

N) John. Your Lacey's father. Here's the blood tests I had done when she was born. They confirm that you are her biological father. (She handed him the papers with tears in his eyes.)

J) Huh, does she know?

N) No. She has been asking for the last few years now who her father is. I never felt the time was right and that she was old enough to understand. Plus I knew your dream was to be in the WWE, I would never be the one who took that away from you. But now finding out that she has cancer, I... I just felt like she needed that closure she always wanted. I also completely understand if you want nothing to do with her. And don't think I'm doing this just to be with you or to get money from you. I just want my daughter happy.

J) I will be here for her. And you. (He grabs her hand and pulls her face up so their eyes meet.) I get it you didn't want to ruin my dream, but my child could never ruin s dream I had. I'm here now and I won't go any where.

N) Thank you. When do you want to tell her?

J) Next weekend I have off from live events. I can come out here and me and you can tell her.

N) That sounds perfect.

J) I really appreciate you telling me. This must have been hard to keep a secret.

N) The hardest.

J) Well now it's time to reveal that we have a little girl. (He pulled out her chair and helped her up. He grabbed her and held her in his arms.)

Nikki's POV: This went better than I expected. Thank god he took it better than I thought he would. To know that Lacey will have her father with her and support her is just all I ever wanted. And for him to be here for me as well feels even better. But Nicole calm down you can't jump into a relationship so soon. Or can I?
