Breeze that touched my face
Took me past a memory lane
Some beautiful some lame
Moments that I keep close
Few promises were made
Few forgotten in the path
All keep coming back in the silence of nights
We share a few laughs through the teary eyes
Locked in the cage of heart the memories keep me alive
Reminding of the innocence shared by the teenage soul
Today there is a sense of calm
Along with the raging hearts of adulthood
As the chirping of the crickets
Pierces through the quiet
And now I remember of the present
Looking forward to make memories in future
Memories that will keep me alive
Memories that’ll keep coming back
