This December [ Melizabeth ]

Meliodas sighed, the cool breeze combing through his messy hair and cooling him off. He inhales through his nose, the icy air entering his lungs and soon escaping through a hasty exhale.

Meliodas's face was far from what one would describe as 'happy'. You see, theres this girl he likes that hes been meaning to confess to since December.

Of last year.

Meliodas's hand gripped tightly around a leather leash, to which was wrapped tightly around his hand. It was December again, he has another chance. This December, he'll remember. He'll tell Elizabeth Liones that hes loved her since freshman year.

Meliodas was walking his dog Cerberus, contrary to his major fuck-up, he seemed rather upset about an entirely different topic. Though as if he didn't care, Cerberus was having the time of his life playing in the snow.

Cerberus was a large black dog, the top of his bum reaching Meliodas's hips. If Meliodas didn't have such a strong grip, Cerberus could have ran off by now and got lost somewhere.

Meliodas sat puzzled as to why his younger brother Zeldris demanded on owning such a large dog in the first place. Meliodas let his mind wander and snickered to himself. Maybe Zeldris was lonely.

Meliodas dropped the subject as Cerberus kicked up the snow and began to jog back towards the house.

Oh, that girl he likes, Elizabeth! As previously mentioned she attends the same highschool as he. It also happens she is going on this winter themed school trip with Meliodas and the rest of the class. Turns out, she is Meliodas's seatmate.

That is what had Meliodas torn. Not that hes sharing seats with the love of his life, but because his best friend Ban would be on the other side of Elizabeth. Don't get him wrong, he loves Ban and his company. Its the fact that Ban knows about Meliodas's feelings and well, knowing Ban he will put them in rather awkward situations.

Meliodas was so lost in thought he didn't realize he had walked smack into his gate until his face met with the cold wood. Meliodas took a breath, and stepped back as he let out a cough. He stepped inside the gate and shut it behind him before he bent down and unhooked Cerberus's collar. Cerberus darted toward the door as Zeldris scrambled to the screen and let his dog inside and waved to Meliodas.

Meliodas rose his voice before shouting, "I'm leaving! Watch Cerb and Mom alright?" Meliodas picked up his bag that had laid on the porch prior to him taking the dog for a walk, and slung it over his shoulder. Zeldris nodded and squatted, showering their dog in love.

Meliodas exited the gate and checked his phone, its 6:13 AM. Meliodas grinned, he had enough time to stop by and get some snacks.

Meliodas snickered, he loves waking up early.

That, was a lie.

"-Liz! Liz!" A voice shook the drowsy girl awake. Elizabeth Liones let out a moan and rolled onto her side. She hugged her pillow and attempted to go back to sleep.

Her sister, Veronica groaned and snatched the pillow out of Elizabeths arms and began to beat her with it. This caused Elizabeths distraught moans to turn into distressed screams.

"Wake up! Its 7:45 and your bus leaves at 8:00!" Veronica rose the pillow over her head and slammed it down on Elizabeths backside.

Elizabeths eyes shot open as her body tore itself from the bed. She was late!

They- They were going to the mountians! Hell, they were renting cabins! It was winter. Elizabeth couldn't miss this!

Elizabeth threw herself out of the bed and darted for her closet. Her hands ripped out articles of clothing and began to fill her bag with haste. After filling it with everything she needed, she grabbed her pillow and sat it atop her duffle bag and almost tripped getting her clothes.

Elizabeth wore a mini skirt and thigh highs. She will admit a skirt wasn't the best option but it was cute! She threw on a tanktop and an adorable sweater. It was warm. Elizabeth smiled to herself and put her hair in a low ponytail.

Elizabeth snatched her headphones, charger, and her phone from the counter and shoved them into her bag. Elizabeth whined and ran out the door without a bite to eat.

Elizabeth panted as she ran to school, looking down at her phone.

Elizabeth whined and threw her head back before diving for school at full speed.

Elizabeth rounded the corner before she saw her friends loading the bus, Elizabeth screamed and ran as fast as she could, waving her hands around desperately. She didn't want to be left behind!

Mr. Chino paused and stopped the bus driver. He grinned, "Theres miss Elizabeth, I was wondering if she'd ever show up." Chino shook his head, he was their teacher for this trip. Everybody loves Chino.

Chino stood with his hand on his hip as the bus door open and Elizabeth walked inside, panting. Elizabeth whined, "So hungry.." she looked at Chino. Chino grinned. Elizabeths eyes widened, Chino only grins like that when he has a plan instore.

"You're sitting in the back, remember? Meliodas, baby, raise your hand!"

Meliodas was quickly snapped out of his daydream and his hand shot up on its own. Why was he raising his hand again? He didn't remember.

Meliodas sat there, puzzled, as he sipped at his Monster energy. It so happened to be the Ultra Paradise flavor. Ban was sitting beside him with a seat in the middle for Elizabeth. Meliodas came to realization soon after she began to walk back to him. Meliodas's face stayed blank. He almost forgot she was a seatmate of his.

Meliodas had the window seat, Elizabeth then took her seat in between Meliodas and Ban.

You see, Elizabeth had her own little secret, she also has a crush on the same boy whos loved her since freshman year.

She liked how he dressed, examining the light brown baggy pants and white vans. What seemed to be a black and white striped shirt under his dark red hoodie.

Meliodas watched closely as Elizabeth sat down her bags, apologizing to the others for her being late. Diane fussed and Ban just laughed.

Elizabeth blinked as she smiled and looked over to the cute freckled boy next to her. His blonde hair was messy and looked to be recently dried,

Elizabeth waved her hand, grinning.

Meliodas stared right through her, he also waved but he didnt smile. Instead,

he wore a poker face.
