When they finally found one of the monsters, they didn't know what to do. As always, when they saw it, they paralyzed in fear. JRF tried to fight the fear inside of him but he couldn't eliminate it completely.
"why is this so hard! We have fought these monsters before." JRF said.
"Yes, but you don't understand, this are fire and ice monsters. The other ones were normal ones." Mike replied
"Which is this one fire or ice?" Asked Zi
"We don't know yet." Mike said
But they didn't need to wait much longer for answers. The monster roared and a great amount of heat passed to them through the ship. Just then the monster pounded on the ship and it shook so much that they all fell to the floor.
They were all trying to regain balance, but the monster kept pounding. Eventually they grabbed on to a table. JRF went to push the missile button to fire at it.
"I don't have a good angle!" he screamed
"Just shoot it."
JRF did as he was told and fired the missile. As he thought, it missed. The monster jumped and got right in front of the ship.
"You can't say nothing about the angle!" Mike said.
JRF pressed the button to shoot but nothing happened.
"Recharging missile, please wait a moment." The machine said
"Shit!" JRF said as he kept pushing the button, but the same message appeared. "We need to get out everyone grab your suits."
They did what they were told do and everyone got out of the building with their blasters.
JRF shot the monster in both eyes and it roared so hard that a wave of heat passed through them. The monster gathered all of his energy and leapt on Zi and landed on top of him. Mike and JRF pressed their blasters against the monster's skin and fired. It backed away but with only a little burn.
It now leapt at JRF but he managed to shoot its eyes just in time so he wouldn't get scratched.
"Duck!" Mike yelled and then came a roar from behind from another monster. JRF saw that the fire monster was had been frozen. Behind him was what he was sure was an ice monster.
If it wasn't for Mike's command to duck, they also would have been frozen.
"How will we defeat this thing?" Zi asked.
"I have an idea, but it won't work unless you distract me by shooting its eyes." JRF said.
Mike and Zi shot the monster in its eyes and as it opened its mouth to roar JRF quickly got inside. JRF went through the insides of the monster's body to its stomach.
But there he found something he didn't think he would find. Becky Tovar.
