Prologue: The mark and collar
"Kotone, when the time comes-that mark on your neck will help you protect those you care about." I heard in my slumber. 'So I have a new master? What joy...' I thought with sarcasim. "But mother-what happens if I'm not strong enough?" A little girl's voice asked-a voice I knew belong to my new master. "All you need to worry about is how to steady your voice, sharpen your comands and harshen yourself against any bulling." The voice from before said. "Why? Does my mark control a Yokai?" "Yes but not just any Yokai-this Yokai is stronger than the Supreme Commander himself! Her name is Kaori and she is a Yokai made out of Fear and darkness-nothing can kill her, so she was cursed to serve our family because we help the Supreme Commander. Around the Yokai's neck-there is a chain of back and white flowers-that is her collar. When you order it to stop-the collar wll activate and chock it! Once you know the Yokai has had enough punishment-say 'You've learned, now you are to be rewarded.' and the collar will loosen back to the way it was before the stop comand." "But mother...what happens if it becomes my friend?" 'Friend...? This human....' I thought before going deeper into my slumber.
