It was a Tuesday afternoon in October. My favorite month and most favorite season. Studying the auburn leaves that descend from the brown lofty trees. Cold breezy wind blowing into thin air. I enjoyed the chilly and cloudy weather, it comforted me in a way.
I was seated at lunch out in the back tables as usual. Gaping at other classmates enjoying their time with friends. Corina was eating lunch with hers outside under the trees. Which didn't bother me at all. I had just came out of algebra, my least favorite class. I was starving since I was far much to lazy to cook anything for breakfast this morning. I had brought a basic turkey sandwich with a side of strawberries. It filled me up somehow.
As I was scrolling through TikTok I heard a group of laughter from the up right area of the cafeteria. It was of course the group of 3 , what everyone calls them, " popular boys ". Almost every girl in Vincent Valley high had a crush on them. By them I mean mostly The Louis Partridge. I never knew what they saw in him, I mean yeah he was cute. But I wasn't one to fall for someone's charm so easily.
It's quite funny actually. I've had crushes but not an actual boyfriend. It sounds stupid, but i want my first relationship to be a special one. Like a good experience that I can learn off from. So when I do date another I'll know what kind of heart break I'll expect, or what type of guys I'll go for.
When I was still observing the group of boys, me and Louis made eye contact. He gave me a small smile, I ended up looking away really fast. " That was strange ", I thought. It was rare for me to make eye contact with other people. When I was done eating, i threw my lunch away and left to my next class.
While I was walking, the obnoxious bell rang above me in the speakers. The hallways started to fill, when I felt lanky hands on my waist, grabbing me and moving me to the side. " Sorry, darling ", I heard the boy who was holding my waist say. And then like that he walked away. I furrowed my eyebrows and just continued strolling to next period.
Who was the boy you may ask? Well I'm sure you guessed right. It was
Louis partridge.
