This book is in no way meant to romanticize depression, suicide, or anxiety. Reese is struggling with all of these things, and I am not writing this to have people say, "depression is so romantic! You meet the perfect boy and he magically cures all your sadness!"
Sorry, but no.
Depression feels like drowning. Depression is an awful, horrid thing that I hope none of you ever experience.
Anxiety is like when you're tipping your chair back in class, and it's only on two legs, and you think it's going to fall and you have that moment of pure panic.
People with anxiety feel like that all the time.
Depression, anxiety and suicide aren't cute, desirable, or anything like that.
My whole purpose in writing this is so some people can see what depression truly feels like- raw emotion, not beautified like I've seen in the past.
This is Reese's story, and the fact that she falls in love with Miles is not so he can "save her". It's because when you have depression, you latch onto the first thing you find that cares for you. For Reese, that was miles.

Ok, now that the sad part is over, I really hope you enjoy!
