The almighty lion sits with her pride cowered in a corner. The lioness has been scolded by the pride male. Normally it wouldn't seem a great deal to her but that day was different. That day she realized how she felt toward the male. She felt as if he mistreated her with no reason, yes there had to be some reasoning but not to the great length she felt. She felt that he called upon her when he was angry at the world. She had no idea why he took it out on her. He also accused her of many things and when she tries to tell him that she has not done the terrible deed he accused her of, that angers him even more. She tries time and time again to impress him and make him happy of the lioness he has raised but to her that seemed impossible. She feels as if he scolds her when he's bored. He goes out everyday looking for food with many failed attempts so by the end of the day he is very tired bringing him into an unknowing state of anger. She tries to consult her pride mates about how she feels but they call her melodramatic so naturally she closes herself off to her family in doing so she feels emotionally unattached to them. She understands that it's her doing of creating a bad relationship with them but she feels as if none of them try. She feels emotionally abused but wouldn't dare to consult the pride male about it cause she doesn't want to accuse him. All she sees in her pride males eyes, is how much disappointment she has brought him and how disapproving he is of her and her actions but she has done nothing to deserve that disapproval. She doesn't drink the forbidden water nor sneak out at night to play with the cheetahs. she feels as if she doesn't belong with the pride and they look at her as an outsider. She wants more than anything to tell the male how she feels but she won't cause she thinks that she's not thinking straight and her emotions are a scrambled cause she doesn't want to admit she feels the way she does. Day in and day out she feels as if they hate her and want nothing to do with her. She feels as if her father is no longer that but more of a sergeant watching and waiting for her to drop the ball. She holds that ball very tightly and tries very carefully not to let it slip but unknowingly it does, she tries to pick it up and replenish what's left cause its okay to make mistakes even if it happens over and over again. She looks up and sees the very angry sargent ready to tell her all she's done wrong. She doesn't understand why he acts like that towards her. Maybe it's because in his mind she has done the unforgivable or that she is egotistical and needs to be shown that she doesn't deserve all she has. She can't blame him for raising her the way he does because that's the way he was raised. She constantly bashes herself for being so disrespectful and ungrateful for all he has done for the pride but she feels terrible for acting and feeling the way she does. She can never under any circumstances ever tell him how she feels or she will be banished from ever returning to the pride.
