Jake spent the rest of the school day completely avoiding eye contact with Madeline as to anger her in any way.
Jake arrived home by himself and started playing some games, eating and just vibing to some music awaiting his mum to come home.
He eventually heard the sound of the garage door opening and his mum's car pulling into the drive way, he knew he was in big trouble.
His mum began yelling at him and educating him on the importance of respecting faculty members and students as a whole.
Then she dropped the bombshell.
Jake would have to go to camp this summer instead of being at home.
Jake was heartbroken, he begged and wept about not being able to chill with friends and game but his mum gave him the options of either, going to camp or being suspended from school.
Jake excepted defeat and savoured his final few weeks with his friends.
