Sana's POV

Outside The Cabin

My mind raced with thoughts of Jihyo and our precious daughter, their safety my only concern. The tension on the front lines had reached its peak. The relentless attacks from Taiwanese and Korean forces had taken a toll on everyone, both physically and mentally. The visions of Jihyo and our daughter in danger haunted me. The paranoia gnawed at my sanity, driving me to the brink of madness. Every shadow seemed to conceal an enemy, every rustle of leaves a potential threat. In the dim light of a flickering lantern, I clutched my rifle, heart pounding with a mixture of fear and fury. I couldn't shake the overwhelming sense of dread that gripped me, and my thoughts became a tangled web of suspicion and paranoia.

As I patrolled the perimeter, my senses on high alert, I caught sight of movement in the distance. The silhouette of Taiwanese soldiers emerged from the shadows, their presence intensifying the torment in my mind. Panic seized me, and I sprinted towards them, oblivious to the fact that they were merely shadows cast by the moon.

Jihyo's POV

The Cabin

I cradled our daughter tightly in my arms. I looked at Sana who was holding tightly on his gun. I knew his mind was unravelling under the weight of the war, and the fear of him hurting us overshadowed any lingering love I once held for him. The night wore on, and as darkness embraced us, the air thick with tension, I knew I had to make a choice. The safety of our daughter and myself was paramount. I couldn't let Sana's unravelling mind endanger us any further.

"I am sorry, Sana", I whispered, my voice barely audible as I pecked his forehead.

The urgency in my heart led me to shoot his leg, incapacitating him temporarily. With a heavy heart, I made the call on his walkie-talkie, alerting his Japanese comrades to his location.

Woods

Korean soldiers emerged from the shadows, their uniforms barely distinguishable from the darkness that surrounded us. Relief flooded through me as I recognized their faces. With a burst of adrenaline, I approached one of them, desperately seeking safety for my daughter and myself.

"Park jihyo".

"Yo men get over here lets get her out of this area immediately".

I glanced back at the cabin. Im really sorry Sana-ah.
