Niall was sitting in the front room with his friends. Right now, they were waiting for Harry to pick them up. The friend group were going to a New Years party with Harry's friend group and Harry decided he was going to be the sober one out of the groups. So they were waiting for Harry to show up.

" I'm excited to finally party. Being around family is boring." Liam says.

" You're such a party animal Liam." Louis says.

" And what's wrong with that?" Liam asks. Niall rolls his eyes. He looks outside and noticed Harry's car sitting in the parking lot. Niall looks at his friends.

" Harry's here, so let's go." Niall says. He stands up and his friends follow. Niall and friends walk out of the house and into Harry's car. His friends get in the back and Niall gets in the passenger seat.

" Hi Harry." Niall says as soon him and his friends are in the car.

" Hi Ni." Harry says.

" Hello Niall!" Harry's friends say from the trunk. Niall lets out a laugh and looks behind him. His friends sat directly behind the driver and passenger seats and those were the only seats. Harry's friends were stuck way in the back in the trunk.

" Did Harry really make you guys sit back there?" Niall asks.

" Hey, they don't mind it. They're tipsy anyway." Harry says.

" How come we didn't pre-game?" Liam asks.

" Because my mom would've kicked my arse." Niall says.

" You'll drink at the party, calm down Liam." Louis says. Niall looks at Harry.

" Are you sure you're okay with being DD? I can stay sober too to help make sure everyone is okay." Niall says.

" I agree with Niall. He should be DD and Harry should be able to drink. He doesn't drink anyway, so it's not like it'll matter." Liam pipes up.

" No, it's fine. Niall never gets the chance to drink and I want him to have that chance. He deserves to have fun too. I'll be fine taking care of everyone." Harry says.

" I've never seen Niall drink in my life." Liam says.

" Because you've never given him the chance. You automatically make him the DD without his input." Harry says. Niall slides his fingers through Harry's. He could tell Harry was getting worked up and Niall didn't need that now.

" It's okay Haz." Niall says. Harry lets out a breath.

" I know." Harry says. Harry pulls up to the house with the party. He parks the car and everyone gets out. They walk into the house and immediately everyone went their separate ways. Niall, Harry, and Louis were the ones still together.

" Do you guys want to go get drinks?" Harry asks over the loud music. The two nod their heads. They follow Harry to the kitchen. Harry looks around and finds some drinks. Harry hands them to Niall and Louis.

" There ya go." Harry says. Niall and Louis start to drink their drinks. The three stay in the kitchen for a bit longer. Then Niall noticed someone standing in the kitchen.

" Josh?" Niall asks. Josh turns around and smiles at Niall.

" Niall! It's good to see you!" Josh exclaims. They go in for a hug. Harry and Louis just look at each other confused. Niall releases from the hug and looks at his boyfriend and best friend.

" Harry and Louis, this is Josh, my football friend." Niall says. Josh drops his mouth in shock.

" No way! You're finally dating Harry?" Josh says.
