*Y/N's POV*

Three weeks.

You were withholding your emotional insanity for three weeks.

The only thing that might've seemed different was that you were only the smallest, most minuscule, less talkative than you usually were. You just weren't up for having conversations. Nonetheless, that didn't stop you from carrying on about your day. You went to school, then "relaxed" with everyone, rinse, and repeat. Bakugou still clung to you. He still got on your nerves day in, day out. You let him get on your nerves. You still argued the same. You two still got along the same.

        but deep down,

You adored Bakugou. You couldn't have been happier that you two were dating. Or were somewhat close to dating. It wasn't exactly clear what the two of you were. Both of you clung to each other, like a couple. You both went most places together, like a couple. You held his things for him, he held your things for you. You both helped each other out. Daily routine was identical, with an exception to him being considerate towards you.

Outside of those events, neither of you ever went in for a real hug. Neither of you reached in for a kiss. You hardly held hands. It was either cuddling or leaning on each other. No lovey dovey shit.

Not establishing a status between you and Bakugou was absolutely driving you insane. You were confused. You were angry at yourself for not confronting your confusion. You were sad because you felt like you couldn't trust yourself, let alone him to not hurt you. Everyone you were close to in the states turned their back on you.

Yet, you internalized it all. You didn't show one ounce of true emotion. If you did, no, you didn't. Most of it was trained responses. Learning to mask everything wasn't new to you. It was a skill you learned from living with your family. Everything always had to be A-OK with mama. She would gas light you, then put the spot light back on her. You couldn't understand why she would get mad at you for feeling awful. You couldn't talk to your brothers about anything, without them making fun of you by: telling you that your emotions were "white people shit": or giving you bullshit advice that obviously didn't work.

Your older sister wouldn't exactly understand. Not like you had any actual contact with her; and your youngest sister was too young to understand anything.

And to live up to the stereotype: daddy issues.

It didn't matter. As long as you kept things on a base level with Bakugou, it would be alright. That's what you figured, at least. You did your best to make sure he was happy. If he asked for something, you gladly provided. You always checked in with him. Whatever you were doing, you would instantaneously drop for him. Regardless of how important it was. If you thought Bakugou called your  name, you would appear where he was. If he didn't, you double checked; furthermore, you offered whatever it was he needed.

In short, you went out of your way for him. Considering he didn't have many manners, you adorned his praise. Never in a million years did you think you would melt at the sound of someone saying 'thank you' or 'please', yet you became all gushy over Bakugou saying it.

        It terrified the entire class.

Mina, of course, was the first to say something about it. She strutted over to you, while you were eating in the commons. You looked up at her.

"What, bug butt?" You asked, sliding her your drink. She held it, tapping the can as she thought to herself. Mina hummed.

"Are you two going to make it official?" She asked, holding the drink to her mouth. Mina took a quick sip. "Or at least say something to me about it."
