The morning sun was slowly rising over the city skylines of Musutafu, transforming the blackness of the night sky into a warm light blue colour. Faintly white clouds stretched across the sky, along with a calm cool wind that accompanied the morning, rustling the leaves of the trees.

Ochako was sound asleep in her bed, snoring lightly and curled up inside her duvet, which was wrapped up near her shoulders. Unfortunately, though, a ray of sunlight seeped through the crack of the curtains, resting over her face. She stirred, furrowing her eyebrows, and letting out a small grunt from the sudden light appearing through her closed eyelids.

She tried to ignore it, pulling the duvet over her head, and sinking deeper into her soft pillow, but the constant light shining at her soon became an annoyance. Eventually, she gave in, removing the duvet over her and opening her eyes wearily. As she met the dim light head on, she turned his attention to the digital clock that was set on her bed counter.

Once she saw the time was 7:10am, she let out a quiet but annoyed groan before burying her face into the pillow. "Too early..." She muffled.

Ochako knew she couldn't go back to sleep now, and that frustrated her. She was hoping to sleep longer for once as today was her day off from hero work. To finally get some much-needed rest. As much as she enjoyed working as a pro hero, rescuing citizens, and fighting villains, it was a demanding job. So, she hoped to get all the rest she could get, but it seemed the morning sun had other ideas.

After a while, she turned her head, away from the window and closed her eyes in a futile attempt to fall back to sleep. That was when she started to hear a light snoring sound that wasn't her own. Confused and curious, she opened her eyes again.

There, she found Izuku to be fast asleep next to her.

Ochako nearly let out a yelp from the sudden appearance of her boyfriend sleeping next to her. She was surprised to even see him there. She hadn't forgotten that they lived together, as the two moved into their own apartment about six months ago. There was another reason why.

It was extremely rare for her to wake up before him.

Out of the both of them, without a doubt, Izuku worked the hardest as a pro hero. He would always go above and beyond to protect the public, which was something she admired about him. But sometimes, it made her worried. He was so hard-working, even going as far as waking up so early just to do some morning jogs before heading off. He had such a mind-set to his hero duties that sometimes, she wondered if he was pushing himself too far, working too hard to reach his goal to become the number one hero.

So, to find him with his mouth slightly open, allowing his snores to be more audible, along with a small amount of drool coming out of his mouth, with his face half buried into his pillow, and his left arm stretched across in front of him and his right tucked under the pillow, brought such a warmth to Ochako that any sign of tiredness in her gradually evaporated and brought a smile on her face.

She found content watching his body shift up and down from his breathing, looking deep into his relaxed expression on his face. She then drew her attention to the large scar on his upper left arm, and carefully ran her fingers over them. Even though she was wearing gloves to avoid accidently using her Quirk while sleeping, she could still feel the rough bumps, thinking back to how he got them from his hero work.

Her eyes then shifted towards his green, messy hair, which had become messier than usual, and she couldn't resist the urge to comb through it, threading her fingers through the curls, feeling the softness of it. She was so admired by this that she didn't noticed Izuku's eyes scrunching together. It was the light grunt from him that caused her to reject her hands back like she had touched something hot.
